8th Annual Newbury Park High School Jazz Fest: The Newbury Park Jazz Festival is a regional competition gathering middle and high school big bands and jazz combos together from all over the southland, allowing them to showcase their talent and receive valuable feedback from professional jazz artists and educators.



Dole Great Race of Agoura Hills: The Great Race of Agoura Hills is a celebration of running that features six races.

Autism Conference at Cal Lutheran Thousand Oaks:“Spectrum of Opportunity: Autism, Inclusion and Communication Conference” will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Lundring Events Center on the Thousand Oaks campus. It will feature nationally known speakers, including people with autism who have learned to communicate by using keyboards and letter boards.

Whale Watching at Leo Carrillo State Park: Join rangers in search of signs of gray whales. Also enjoy a great chance to explore the beach, tide pools and look for seals and dolphins.

Spring Spectacular at America’s Teaching Zoo in Moorpark:Spring Spectacular is the America’s Teaching Zoo’s largest fundraising event of the year, with entertaining animal shows, get a sneak peek behind the scenes, interact with wild animal trainers and their furry friends and don’t miss all the games, food and fun for all!

Ranger Led Hike at Santa Monica Mountains Interagency Visitor Center: Join a ranger and enjoy a 1.5-mile loop hike with 360° views of the Santa Monica Mountains.

Fundraiser for Healthcare for Homeless Animals: Come join us Saturday, March 19, at Twisted Oak Tavern in Agoura for a fundraiser for Healthcare for Homeless Animals.

Conejo Recreation & Park District Annual Conejo Springfest:There will be egg hunts from noon to 2 p.m., game booths, inflatables, craft, face painting, live entertainment and plenty more.

Springtime at the Adobe Event in Calabasas: Event includes egg hunt, feeding the farm animals, face painting, crafts, music and more.

‘Wizard of Oz’ Show and After Show Reception in Thousand Oaks:The whole family is invited to attend. Children, six and older, will be delighted to be part of the after-show festivities.

MakerBox STEAM Program at Newbury Park Library: Ages 8 and up will enjoy making music with a laptop, fruit and circuits.
