The boy scout troupe lead the way for the opening of the Reyes Adobe Days parade.

Butch Hartman–the creator of Nickelodeon’s Fairly OddParents, Tough Puppy and Danny Phantom–and chalk artist Tracy Lee Stum, will be the grand marshall and featured artist, respectively, at the 12th annual Reyes Adobe Days (RAD), Oct. 6-9 in Agoura Hills.

Hartman, who will premier Bunsen is a Beast on Nickelodeon in 2017, recently designed the Noog Network app and a comic book called “Three O’Clock Club.” He’ll lead the RAD parade as well as perform with his band, the Red Tornados, and demonstrate live drawings. Previously, Hartman served as the RAD featured artist in 2014. “I really look forward to showing everyone an especially good time as grand marshall this year,” he said. “Plus I get to rid in a super cool car.”

At the 2014 RAD, Hartman creates a drawing for lucky audience member, Isabelle.

Hartman will be on-hand at Friday evening’s Night at the Adobe, where he and Stum will exhibit their work at the “Imagination Gallery,” located inside the Reyes Adobe.

Stum, a Ventura resident, is an internationally-acclaimed 3D chalk artist and street painter who is best known for holding the Guinness World Record of the largest street painting by an individual. She will be signing her new book, The Art of Chalk, do live art demonstrations and create a custom piece commemorating the event.

At 10 a.m. on Oct. 8, Hartman will lead the Saturday morning parade, a mile-long procession of floats, bands, classic cars and entertainment, beginning at Yerba
