– Just in time for back to school, the 13 Storybook Apps Include Arthur and Berenstain Bears Stories. Wanderful, the award-winning developer of apps for today’s digital kids, announces the general release of its interactive storybook apps for Android tablets and phones. These interactive storybooks, including the award-winning Harry and the Haunted House, Arthur’s Teacher Trouble and Ruff’s Bone, are part of the Wanderful storybook collection originally published by Living Books.

The thirteen apps include eight apps built for the U.S. market, with story content in English and Spanish, and four apps built for the UK market, with story content in UK English and French. Users can toggle instantly between languages with just a tap on the screen. All the Wanderful Apps are fun and educational, based upon classic storybooks with original music created for each App and full character animation that engage early readers for hours.

“We’ve had many requests for our Apps from educators and parents with Android devices, so we are excited to make these great story experiences available for them,” said Wanderful Founder and CEO Mickey W. Mantle. “Android is the fastest growing platform for tablets, smart phones, and other connected devices and we’re glad to be releasing our storybook Apps for Android so the growing number of parents, teachers, and especially children who use Android tablets and phones can enjoy these great Apps.”

Wanderful apps are highly intuitive and encourage children to explore each interactive storybook page for all its hidden content. With hundreds of interactive antics, sounds, words and music, the apps provide a richer interactive experience on one page than many other story apps offer in a whole book. The new Wanderful interactive storybooks are now available for $4.99 on Google Play and the Amazon App store for Android.

The thirteenth app in the Wanderful interactive storybook collection is the FREE Wanderful Storybooks App, which includes pages from seven of the most popular Wanderful storybooks. Each page in the App is fully interactive, just like in Wanderful’s complete storybooks; and virtually everything on the page comes to life when clicked. The Wanderful Storybooks app is “hosted” by Simon, the narrator from Wanderful’s classic version of the Aesop’s fable Tortoise and the Hare, and provides a great way for parents, teachers, or anyone who hasn’t experienced the charm and educational value of the Wanderful apps to easily do so – and for FREE!
