Arrive at Denver International Airport, just an easy 75 minute drive or shuttle ride, or arrive at the Colorado Springs Airport. Check in to The Broadmoor hotel and resort in Colorado Springs. Upon arriving at The Broadmoor enjoy a swim in our outdoor zero-entry infinity pool or wander the beautiful hotel grounds. Take a moment to sit lakeside and experience the peacefulness of Cheyenne Lake and delight in the museum quality western art collection found hanging in The Broadmoor’s historic halls. Conclude your stroll through the property by visiting the beautiful Pauline Chapel built for The Broadmoor’s founder Spencer Penrose’s beloved wife, Julie Penrose. The Broadmoor is a golfer’s delight, home to 3 championship golf courses on the 3,000 acre / 1,214 hectare property. Regardless of your handicap, you’ll find the East, West and Mountain courses challenging and enjoyable. Outdoor enthusiasts will want to visit the Fly Fishing School or check out Broadmoor Outfitters activities such as mountain bike rentals, hiking tours, archery, rock climbing and more. In the afternoon, explore the wonders of Colorado Springs including the Garden of the Gods Park, rated the #2 City Park to visit in the world on Trip Advisor (in June 2014). Then take a quick shuttle ride from The Broadmoor to visit Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, America’s only mountain zoo, or Seven Falls, a series of seven cascading waterfalls. Consider lunch at Restaurant 1858 overlooking the natural splendor of the water falls. For dinner, savor the Italian flavors at Ristorante Del Lago – try the ‘Taste of Del Lago’ menu for a sampling of Ristorante Del Lago’s authentic Italian cuisine.

Ride The Broadmoor’s Pikes Peak Cog Railway to the summit of Pikes Peak, the second most visited mountain in the world. See firsthand the beauty that inspired Katharine Lee Bates to pen her famous song “America the Beautiful” as the world’s highest cog train winds you to the top of America’s Mountain. After your journey to the summit, return to The Broadmoor and enjoy lunch at Natural Epicurean where freshly prepared meals made from locally sourced ingredients fill the plates. Spend your afternoon at The Broadmoor’s Forbes Five-Star full service spa. Choose from a variety of specialty massages and treatments or soak in an herbal bath with salts soaks in a variety of tantalizing scents. For dinner, options abound, consider The Penrose Room, Colorado’s only Forbes Five-Star restaurant.

Colorado Springs to Aspen | 244 Miles

Depart from The Broadmoor after breakfast, travel up Highway 24 into the South Park region. Have lunch in Buena Vista before heading over Independence Pass, experience breathtaking views of Colorado’s Rocky Mountain Range at the top of the Continental Divide. Arrive in Aspen and check-in to The Little Nell.

Our guides will teach you how to read the water, professional casting techniques and how to present your fly or lure most attractively to hook rainbows, brookies and browns worthy of fish stories completely void of fiction. All trips include fully customizable gourmet snacks or picnic lunches, with or without wine and beer pairings.

Jeep Tour – Delete whatever is on your camera’s memory card, because our 2-, 4- and 6-hour off-road Jeep Tours provide endless photographic opportunities. To say these

tours are awash in splendid scenery would hardly do justice to an otherwise indescribable adventure. Trips may follow Aspen Mountain’s Summer Road up, up and away until reaching the 11,212 summit. Here you’ll look down on the town of Aspen, across the Maroon Bells wilderness and out to the Continental Divide. Depending on the tour, you may also traverse butterfly-inducing ridge lines, along the shore of crystal blue lakes or through the middle of a forgotten ghost town. Rides up Independence Pass and into the backcountry are also available. All tours include picnic or boxed lunch selections from our premier restaurant, element 47.

Aspen to Vail | 102 Miles

Depart Aspen and travel CO-82 West through the charming town of Glenwood Springs. Take some time to soak in the world’s largest mineral hot springs pool, then enjoy lunch before continuing on I-70 East towards the Vail Valley.

Stop by the Barista Bar in The Study on your way out and grab a latte to go.

Walk to rendezvous at Denver’s premier shopping district, Larimer Square, where you’re sure to uncover unique treasures and souvenirs for friends and family at home. Head a little further into Downtown and hop on the free 16th Street Mall Ride, which will take you to stores like Banana Republic, H&M, GAP, Forever 21 and more.

Step across the street to the Denver Center for the Performing Arts for a production to remember in the beautiful Buell Theatre, which has played host to widely known productions like “Motown The Musical,” “Wicked,” and “The Book of Mormon.” After your show, Hotel Teatro will gladly welcome you back as you retreat to your room for a great night’s sleep.

It’s not a true visit to Denver without partaking in some of the city’s best breweries – both well-known and up-and-coming alike. Visit the downtown Tourist Information Center to pick up your Denver Beer Trail, a guide to 20 featured breweries, most in the walkable downtown area.First stop? Great Divide Brewing Co.! One of the city’s most well-known breweries, Great Divide is located at Arapahoe and 22nd Street. Also enjoy the Denver Beer Co., Wynkoop Brewing Company, River North Brewery and the Falling Rock Tap House during your excursion.

All of that biking can certainly work up an appetite! Luckily, most Denver breweries have on-site food trucks to curb your cravings. If food trucks aren’t your forté, check out popular eateries like Linger or Root Down, both of which are located in the trendy Highlands neighborhood. While you’re on the west side of town, get ready to explore the mecca of sporting goods stores – REI’s original flagship location.

If you’d like to explore outside of Denver, Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre is only 30 minutes outside of the city, and provides gorgeous views and hiking opportunities. And during the summer, this outdoor music venue is the best place to watch a concert under the stars. After your day of breweries, biking and exploring, wind things down at Denver Union Station, a transportation, dining, shopping and entertainment

hub, all centered around the new Crawford Hotel. Sip a beer at the Terminal Bar, sample the locally sourced cuisine at one of the unique restaurants, or have a hand-mixed cocktail at Cooper Lounge.
