My BDP-S3500 BD player is stuck on the BD logo at startup and is not responding to any remote control commands or buttons pressed on the player's front panel, even holding in the power button. I've unplugged the player from both AC and HDMI cables a few times and left the player with no power for a little while before plugging it back in but with no luck. Before this happened the player would sometimes randomly exit the YouTube app while streaming with an error usually saying that the file size was too large for the player.

Sometimes after that happened the player would turn itself off and on again or it would freeze up and I would have to turn it off at the front panel, and all my apps, network and player settings would reset to factory defaults by itself. It would also wipe any other personal settings except the renamed device name, at which point I would have to input all my previous settings and re-add the apps I wanted to the home screen. This time it did just that and after I had re-connected the player to the Internet via WPS 1-button setup, it went to setting up Internet video services as is normal, but froze completely at the 3rd and last stage. At this point I turned off the player at the front panel due to not responding to the remote and turned it back on again, which led to where I am now - the BD player stuck on the Blu-Ray logo at startup.

Would someone be able to please help me find a solution to this? I've had the player for 3 months and apart from a couple of trivial issues I'm very happy with it. Cheers
