The rebuild option is located in each module by selecting Utilities, Rebuild .  NOTE – There is no need to rebuild if moving from Sage BusinessWorks 2013 to 2015. At the server check Help, About in Sage BusinessWorks and note the program version and program location (both program and data paths). Close all open programs and have all users exit Sage BusinessWorks and remain out of the program until the entire installation has been completed.  Note: If all users have logged out and you are still receiving a message that users are in the program you can disconnect all users by accessing Start, Programs, Sage      BusinessWorks, DBRegister. Once in DBRegister select the BWSystem1400 database and click on Users  and then Disconnect All Users. To run the profile setup go to the \\{SERVERNAME}\Sage\BWProg folder on the server and select bwprofile.exe. The Profile Setup is Windows user specific therefore each user will have to verify that their default custom form and printer settings are correct before printing. Your installation is now complete. After the installation is complete If upgrading from Sage BusinessWorks 2012 or earlier , if the Database update does not display select Start, Programs, Sage BusinessWorks, Database Update and update ALL databases. Important! You must complete this step before you begin working in Sage BusinessWorks. Please make sure that you update the BWSystem1400 database immediately as errors may occur if this is not completed. The Database Updater can take from several minutes to several hours to complete for each company depending on the amount of company data. After the update is complete, launch Sage BusinessWorks and verify that you can access the program. Note: Users may receive a registration prompt when launching Sage BusinessWorks for the first time. This registration prompt is for our online Sage Portal and only needs to be done if the user does not yet have a login.
