Getting Started in the LogMeIn Community

Registration For First-Time Visitors

1) If you have an existing LogMeIn account:

Under the blue navigation bar, click 'Register.'

Log in using your LogMeIn account user name and password.

Create a screen name that will appear next to your posts in the community.

Start posting!

2) If you do NOT have a LogMeIn account:

Under the blue navigation bar, click 'Register.'

Click ‘Sign Up.’

Once you complete registration, navigate back to the community.

Log in using your LogMeIn account user name and password.

Create a screen name that will appear next to your posts in the community.

Start posting!

Signing In For Returning Visitors

Under the blue navigation bar, click 'Sign In.'

Enter your LogMeIn user name and password.

Start posting!

Navigating The Community

The LogMeIn Community is composed of a number of boards, each one dedicated to discussions about a specific LogMeIn product or a LogMeIn-related topic. Browse the forums by clicking through them or use the search engine to find the discussions or solutions you are looking for. Sidebars on each page highlight quality content you may be interested in, and important announcements or valuable contributions may be floated to the top of a board for viewing. You may also use the links in the left sidebar to navigate and click on breadcrumbs to find your way around.

Managing Your Profile

Under the blue navigation bar, click on your user name to view your community profile.

To customize your community profile, under the blue navigation bar, click on ‘My Settings.’ Complete your profile by choosing an avatar, adding some personal information, adjusting your display preferences, and more. Here you can also manage your subscriptions and bookmarks.

Posting And Replying

Start a new topic on a board by clicking the ‘New Message’ button. Click the ‘Reply’ button on an existing post to respond to it.

Subscribing To Posts And Boards

When you post to a board, you have the option to check ‘Email me when someone replies.’

You can receive notifications whenever a post is made to a particular board by subscribing to it. On the board, under the 'Options' dropdown menu, choose ‘Subscribe.’

Community Ranks

As you participate in the LogMeIn Community, you may move through ranks based on your activity and the quality of your contributions. The LogMeIn Community is always looking for quality contributions from its members in order to help us ALL collectively learn more. Share your best practices, your tips and technical know-how, and provide solutions and support to your fellow LogMeIn users, and you will be recognized as a valued community member.

Your feedback is valued and always welcome! If you have an idea or a suggestion about how to improve the LogMeIn Community, please share your feedback by posting on our Community Feedback board.
