Happened yesterday while watching a movie. The sound had turned itself down to 0. i trouble shot to check if it was the remote control by using it on other televisions in the house. Remote control functioned normally on other televisions. After Trial and error i used the remote's volume up button at the same time as the TV's volume up button. The volume would go up, as long as i held the volume up button on the TV after that the volume would remain at wherever i let go on the remote. When i remove my finger from the televisions volume up button the volume would begin going down by itself again.
I assume that the buttons are stuck and thought about taking the television apart in finding out...thought i'd search and see if there was a non-invasive solution before i go that route.
