ALM/Quality Center Online Expert Week May 18-22nd
HP Software will be hosting an Online Expert Week. During this week, HP Experts will host online presentations about ALM 12. Members of HP Software’s Product, R&D and Support teams will also be available on our online forums to answer customers’ toughest technical questions.
Day 1: will be held in the Quality Center Support and News Forum, which is a public forum open to everyone. See links below where you can register to attend the session.
Day 2-4: will be held in the Quality Center Support Customer Forum, this is an entitled (private) forum which is only accessible if you have a valid Support Agreement in your HP Passport profile. For more information on how to get access to this forum please send the end of this message.

Secrets of Business Views
Introduced in QC and ALM v11.52, Business Views provide an out-of-the-box ability for teams to report on cross-practitioner assets - For example, a list of Severity-1 Defects that are impacting the current release against High-Priority Requirements. We will discuss the values of business views, how to set them up and how to adapt many of the out-of-the-box content

Overview of ALM/QC WebUI as well as Q+A with the Product Management team: The new WEB UI was introduced in v12 for the Requirements and Defects modules. With 12.20 additional functionality has been introduced, some of it as a tech-preview. We will discuss the upcoming additions to this platform as well as try to answer as many related questions as possible in this session.
What's new in QC Sync, and Best Practices: HP has recently introduced a number of new adapters for QC Sync. We'll talk about the solution, what's new in the 12.20 release, and discuss some best practices for use.

ALM Updated Client User Interface: The ALM client interface has undergone a major update to look and feel. Join this session to learn about the differences between the previous interface and this new one.
ALM New Web UI for Requirements and Defects: A brand new feature of ALM 12 is the Web UI for Requirements and Defects. This session will discuss the new Web UI, which roles should use it and why.
Single Sign ON and CAC support Sprinter 12.0 updates: Sign on and CAC is a common feature in high security environments, and this session will cover the features which were added to ALM 12 to accommodate it. Also, HP Sprinter 12 has received updates with its functionality which includes mobile! Join this session to learn more.

How to access the private support forums:
To check if you have access to the entitled forums, you first need to check if the SAID (Support Agreement ID) that is in your HP Passport profile is valid when you login to the community. Please follow these steps:
Go to: https://softwaresupport.hp.com/group/softwaresupport/settings
Login using your HP Passport credentials
Check to see if your SAID is listed and active. This is important.
If not, please add it
Once you have checked or added your SAID please do the following:
Go to http://www.hp.com/go/hpswforums
Click on “Log in” , on the right hand side of your screen
Login using your HP Passport credentials
If this is the first time you access the community then you will be asked to define a screen name. This is how you will be recognized in the community.
Once you are in the community, click on Quality Center/ALM.
You should see the Quality Center support customer forum. This is the entitled forum that is only accessible to customers/partners with a valid SAID. In these forums we have HP Support Engineers that are monitoring the forums and ready to address your questions. This is where you can submit questions during the expert week.
