We offer Clinical Nurse Educators, On-call/Nurse Specialists, Medical Liaisons, Medical Affairs support and other MedEd teams. Responsibilities
In this role, you'll provide clinical expertise to health care providers through utilization of your clinical nursing skills and education, helping them to improve patient outcomes. Representing an up-and-coming pharmaceutical company poised for growth, you will engage in nursing initiatives and patient advocacy as an integral member of our team to support our key oncology product launch. Focusing on carcinoid syndrome disease state education and training, you will:

Conduct nurse in-service programs when needs are identified by sales force at top centers/accounts

Establish and manage relationships with nurse navigators at relevant institutions and large practices to determine opportunities for engagement and execute on educational initiatives

Identify nurses for speaker bureau, assist with speaker training, day of program preparation, and backfill speaker in case of cancellation

Establish relationships/strategic partnerships with local chapters of ONS, AONN, and ONA to identify regional opportunities for education and collaboration

Drive patient education programs at the local level

Cultivate and maintain relationships with all local patient support groups in region by attending meetings

Connect patients with regional nurse leaders for local support

Identify patient ambassadors

Requirements
Along with your energy and versatility, you must possess:

A Bachelor's Degree and an active RN license

5 years' pharmaceutical industry experience in rare disease or oncology experience, ideally in neuroendocrine

Strong clinical expertise and ability to articulate and communicate complex information

Demonstrated strong interpersonal and self-presentation skills

Direct interaction with patient support for persistence and compliance outside hospital setting preferred

Training experience preferred

Ability to develop strategic long-term relationships with customers aimed at helping patients and achieving business results

Ability to provide geographic coverage of targeted support groups/meetings/events

Ability to travel up to 80%, including overnights, and a valid driver's license to drive to assignments, unless otherwise specified
