Responsibilities
The Clinical Trial Educator (CTE) is a Registered Nurse/Clinical Trial Clinician who is knowledgeable in clinical research and the specific disease state being studied. The primary goal is to drive enrollment at clinical trial sites to meet trial metrics and act as liaison between the Principal Investigator/Site Staff and the Sponsor.

Responsibilities include interactions with the Principal Investigator and Study Coordinator to provide recruitment support. Provide on-site management of recruitment tools-media, referral physicians, and trial educational opportunities. The CTE will facilitate access to the internal sponsor resources through consistent dialogue and written communications. The CTE will also communicate weekly to all key site personnel driving high trial visibility and updated status.

Assist in Recruitment Efforts for Phase III clinical trials

Provide on Site Assessment of current enrollment efforts and develop strategic plan to increase referrals, recruitment and retention.

Identify high potential referral physicians and practices, provide education and awareness efforts within these practices to facilitate referral of appropriate patients to the sites

Act as conduit of information between site and sponsor, provide weekly updates on enrollment status, and support site in all recruitment efforts

Present clinical trial/protocol information at appropriate educational venues to drive awareness of trial

Investigate and facilitate tailored media plans for sites specific to given geography

Work closely with the CRO to communicate on enrollment efforts, challenges and site status

Requirements
Along with your energy and versatility, you must possess:

2-5 years of Clinical Trial Experience

Oncology Experience Highly Preferred

Ability to travel 70%

Demonstrate ability to work independently

Able to demonstrate past work ethic
