Responsibilities
The Key Opinion Leader Development Manager is required to:

Develop, maintain and leverage strategic relationships with professional societies/organizations nationally, as well as on a local and regional basis

Acquire and maintain ongoing scientific expertise relevant to the dermatology therapeutic opportunities of clinical interest to our client

Identify, develop and maintain collaborative relationships with future and current thought leaders on a national basis

Attend key scientific local, regional and national meetings

Provide clinical information to appropriate audiences, support field sales and national account efforts related to clarify around clinical and scientific information

Deliver effective and relevant scientific presentations to clinical and healthcare professionals

Assist in the development of some KOLs as potential speakers

Assist in securing speaker slot at local and regional dermatology meetings

Requirements

Bachelors Degree -BA/BS required; MBA preferred

7 - 10 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a minimum of 3 years in the Dermatology space required

3 years prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison required

PharmD/ Nurse Practitioner background preferred

Clinical/ Analytical expertise and knowledge

Ability to develop and build solid relationships

Ability to travel 80%-90% of the time
