There are some products that over the years I've come to rely on as my favorites. And since I always love seeing what products other people love, I figured I'd share mine today. Do any of you use these?
1. Proactiv Exfoliating Cleanser
When I was a teenager, I swore by Proactiv and then as I got older it stopped working for me. I decided to try the "new and improved" formula and I will say I'm very impressed. My skin is SO soft and it's definitely helped with breakouts (with the help of the rest of the line).
2. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
I originally got this as a free sephora sample, but it is SO moisturizing and doesn't clog pores so it's become my favorite.
3. Forever 21 Lip Balm
Originally I just fell in love with the owl, but the lip balm is so moisturizing!
4. Chanel Chance Perfume
I wore this on my wedding day and it remains my go-to for special occasions.
5. Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue Perfume
B first introduced me to this perfume (he wears the guy version). It's definitely my every day scent.
6. Covergirl Pressed Powder
A classic. I use medium / light whenever I'm wearing foundation.
7. Physicians Formula Classic Nude Eyeshadow
I don't wear eyeshadow very often so I'm too cheap to buy the Urban Decay Naked palette that everyone loves because of it. I found this and love the range of options available for WAY cheaper.
8. Wet n' Wild Mega Glow Blush and Bronzer
This is a newer purchase of mine and I love being able to swirl the colors together to get a bit of pinky blush and glowing bronzer all at once.
9. Lancome Teint Visionnaire Foundation
If I find a product I really love, I'm willing to spend a bit more and this is one of them. The foundation offers full coverage but doesn't feel heavy, and the top of the bottle has a matching concealer so I justify it by saying it's two products in one!
10. Revlon Colorbust Lip Butter in Lollipop
I don't often find a lipstick / lipbalm that I buy over and over, but this is the exception. I am obsessed with this bright pink. Bonus? It makes my eyes look really blue and makes my lips really soft.
11. Eyelash Curler
If there is one makeup step I will always do when I go out, it's mascara because it makes me look so much less tired. I always use an eyelash curler. This is one I bought years ago at a drugstore and I still love it.
12. Clinique Lash Doubling Mascara
Another product I'm willing to spend a bit more on? Mascara. Ever since I tried the Clinique line of mascaras, I can't go back. I've tried using drugstore brands now and just can't. I even found a mascara in Italy that I tried because I figured it's Italy, why not?! And I still ended up only using it while there and immediately returned to Clinique.
13. Makeup Brushes
I've recently come to understand the importance of makeup brushes. I'm not under the impression that they need to be crazy expensive (though I'm sure real makeup artist brushes are fantastic) and these ones I've had have been around for awhile. As long as I clean them, they work just perfectly. The top there I use are a foundation brush, powder brush, and blush brush.
