Big weekend here in the US. So many comic cons going on, it’s a banner time of year for comics. We have some great spoiler filled picks for you to check out, so let’s get to it!

SUPERMAN #6 – James Kaplan

This book is a real delight. One of the highlights of DC Rebirth. For the first time in a while it feels like DC is really getting Superman right; heroic and noble and inspiring. The family aspect is terrific; having Lois and Clark back together feels right, and their son is a terrific addition. The art in this issue is wonderfully classic, fun work, and it’s a story that feels inspiring and ennobling (which is what I want from a Superman story). Even if DC Rebirth did nothing else right (which is not the case, it’s been pretty successful), getting their most important character back on track has been a huge accomplishment.

About Me: James is a lawyer by day, and an avid reader of comics whenever he can.  He loves his family, friends, and getting all of them into comics. He writes longer comics reviews at panelpatter.com and is on Twitter @sinisterjhk.

SUPERMAN #6 – Tom Barnett

I feel like this first arc could’ve been done in fewer issues, but Tomasi and Gleason crushed it in the Superman finale. I love that they always include the super pets. Lots of feels here!

About Me: I’m Tom. Slightly addicted to comics, Doctor Who, Star Wars and Star Trek. I also try to spend some time behind the lens of my camera. Love Bronze Age comics and the Black Hole movie from Disney. Follow me @tphoto10

SUPERMAN #6 – Scott Keys

I know I’m going to sound like a broken record, but I’m absolutely loving DC Rebirth, and especially Superman! Issue 6 wraps up the 1st arc and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Tomasi and Gleason truly “get” the Man of Steel and what he means to everyone. I can’t wait to see where this leads!

About Me: Scott Keys is a father, Butler University grad, pharmacist, and full-time comic nerd. SPIDEY #10 – Aaron Meyers

This book is capturing the fun of classic Spider-Man for a whole new generation. Great stories, great art.

About Me: Aaron Meyers loves reading comics, collecting comics and talking about comics. He’s grateful to share his love of comics with all of his friends on the Internet. From Twitter at @aaronmeyers, to his new podcast, Comics Therapy with Andrea Shockling, it’s all about the love of comics. He also loves his family, especially his wife, Chrissy Meyers. And while you were taking the time to read this, Aaron went and bought all the best issues from your store’s dollar bin. You lose, Aaron wins. #AllTheComics

Thanks as always for reading and sharing the most honored comics of the week with us. Same time next week!
