Poll Maker
As always, we’re letting you support your favorite strips by paying for additional votes, but this time we’re making a slight change and giving you a choice. The first button is for the Hero Exchange…
…and the second button is going to Mr. Philip J. Hofer, better known to the webcomics community as Frumph, the man who created and maintains ComicPress and ComicEasel, which is the software a ridiculous number of webcomics run on. Frumph has spent countless hours helping people build their sites and making them just right. He suffered a computer meltdown in the last few days, and he needs funds to get a new machine– so we’re helping him out, and giving you the chance to help him as well.
The voting process will remain the same for each– simply click on the Donate button of your choice, and during checkout, click on “Which comic are you donating for?” and tell us who you’re voting for. The price is going up to 25¢ a vote this round, with a minimum of four votes purchased at a time, split any way you want. All proceeds from paid votes will go to the Hero Initiative, an organization that helps comic book creators in need. At the close of the round, we’ll add the paid votes to the totals and announce the winners who move on to the brackets. (Note: your donations to Hero are tax deductible, donations to Frumph are not.)
Voting ends at midnight Eastern Time on Wednesd
ay night! Good luck to everyone!
