Internet, please welcome Central Florida standup comedian and owner/tattoo artist at La Rue Tattoos Jesse Robinette to the podcast. We talk with Jesse at length about the many roles she plays as a woman, mother, business owner, and entertainer, proficiently juggling single motherhood and comedy gigs while owning and operating a tattoo art business. We chat about porno, tattoos, and comedians, and Jesse opens up to us about escaping poverty, the world of online dating, big data and big media conspiracy theories, the evils of propaganda, and the speculative abundance of wine in heaven.

I believe the Internet people Comcastro people of revolution beyond the Max Groves I’m introducing our conversation with Jesse Robinette that she is a relatively new comic out of Florida who also owns the youth love who tried to show her one of those cities Florida or whatever we get to know each other through Twitter and on gun culture of the phone her good I want to have conversation over. To use comedy as an evil propaganda single mother escaping poverty and laughing the whole lot along the way will endure. These are webcam a little bit too often. Well one can answer that said a conversation I mean I’m comfortable with it but you know I actually I actually knew a girl I dated her and like after like several dates she tells me like out of nowhere it was like oh yeah by the way my sister is that cam girl and I was like Dude no way seriously. She strips for dude on the Internet and she’s making a pretty penny and you feel like what I did. Well it’s not her it was her sister her father on the other hand he had some major issues. Well how do you know that you know. Well something something about our to the demographic of customer base for that kind of service. My gosh that’s horrible. That would be the worst way to ensure that your daughters and porn. Well that would be the only way to discover that your daughter’s in porn. No no no no no I don’t endorse the girl ferrite I’m telling mom you know she’s open whether she told me her parents can do this the celebrity sex scandal that well you know I mean she’s on something called Teen Mom so I don’t think that she has a lot of dignity. Well I think that she probably Tracy hope you went to Paris. She’s already done something so degrading. Well me her also her old self branding is procreation right. I I really hope that if somebody didn’t wave a bunch of money on my face I wouldn’t do something like that but I can’t really I can’t judge I don’t know who actually said that about procreation The irony is that her porn was called backdoor teen mom. It’s all you know there’s no procreation at all. Well maybe she’s one of her last and I don’t know like a you know bigger and better things right. I’m sure the drama I had was a much bigger and better for that one. Well if she got paid two million dollars to do it so just are you telling me that if you’re twenty years old you’ve got nothing going for you except for teen mom that you would turn down two million dollars as a thing. I’m I’m gonna say I would turn it down. But yeah I don’t know if it’s not a month. Yeah you have to think about the right but the thing is I’ve been a teenage unwed mother so. But you know I did this crazy thing. I worked for a living. It was weird. Whereto No I don’t I don’t think so I didn’t have to do that. But hard to think yeah but it didn’t pay as well that so I don’t know. One Work weird too because what I what I’ve heard from Fox news is that teenage mothers like you have no idea with a concept is wanted for like they’re like well why do you know I don’t know get a job you know scrubs in toilets or something I don’t know what it is we seek effects gays. Well the story gets weirder vivid what you want to pay the two million dollars to Farrah and then her father was going to negotiated all of the contracts with vivid and part of the negotiate. That’s written into the contract he had to view the material to ensure that the quality standards that he felt his daughter was going to produce. I mean I’ve heard of helicopter parenting but she’s I didn’t even know about that. Back when you know I’m kind of one of those people that I was a very. Exaggerated view of like Hollywood in T.V. and I think they’re all probably have a pact with the devil at some point. So I really don’t doubt anything that I hear that horrible fight on the side. Yeah totally That’s how it works right. You know as well as a comedian are or aren’t your aspirations to work rising to the whole pack level I don’t know if I want to rise in the double pack level I just I really just want to I just want to become as good as I can be whatever that is. I don’t I don’t really want to I guess that means I’ll probably never be an devil packed level. We should click it with a will there’s a way you know I just I just really want to become really good as a comedian and whatever that means so be it. Well you’re out of Florida right. Yes I’m out of central Florida. We’re like we’ve brought up the whole sort of Southern states all seem to kind of like whenever they get made fun of make fun of down right. Yeah. He just all yelled at all come back button. So whenever mix on the Carolinas they make from the Ga Ga mix one of Alabama and Florida Alabama mix from Mississippi. I think it’s I think it’s the same all over the world. I mean when you when you look at it up north like there’s this whole thing like New York’s like a weasel not New Jersey you know and. So I and I knew Hungary and guy and like I was listening to something Gary and music with any animal like Gaza sky you know from where you are for you relate to this in any way and he was like no this guy’s a fuckin redneck you know this guy is from such and such. Well you don’t like them so I was like I guess it really is kind of the same kind of rivalry in every region of the entire world probably California hardly enough has a rivalry with Texas which actually makes total sense if you think about the average California person what they think the total opposite of that is going to be the state of Texas I would imagine yeah. I mean depending on what kind of person you are that’s no contest right. I was I was recently in Phoenix visiting family and I realized that it was a poor man’s L.A. and I think a lot of places out west are pretty much like the poor man’s L.A. I think so it’s a poor man’s L.A. like a shitty plastic surgery or they’re really superficial people but they kind of care a little bit or it’s like low humidity but way too hot. It’s like they’re really trying I think that they’re really trying to be like you know Lego We’re health conscious when we go jogging and you know a lot of people like you want to be in show business and commute to California whenever they get the chance there and I just that’s really kind of seemed like to me it’s never been out there. I’ll never been I’ve been I love New York. I like they would say like you’re either like a New York kind of comedienne or like an L.A. kind of comedian and I just think in general like if I didn’t have kids in Florida I would be in New York like yesterday. I would’ve been there a long time ago I was also on the tattoo shop right. Yes very Gayle has. Clientele change over the years is like sort of hipsters of developed into ideology. There’s trends you know the clientele doesn’t really change. It’s it’s a very wide variety. I mean I guess I of course we get more hipsters but you know the tribal armband that used to go on who is now the infinity symbol you know for the hipsters. It’s just it’s just a different trend that’s all. But I deal with a lot better people now and this isn’t a generational thing it’s just because I’m the boss now. I don’t deal with lunatics anymore I deal with only pretty cool people and all the newest people that kind of have to pay their dues. They get the total lunatics getting their like brothers name on their boob or something like that. Do you have stories for us. Yeah yeah I do. While I have battle of the brothers my family my brother’s brother’s name on my boob and I’ve gotten a lot of text but one in particular there was a woman who came in and I had tattooed or like once before and she was like your regular like what they call it the chick that your whatever. And so she she wanted eyes like really sultry like sexy eyes. But on her vagina and I don’t know I don’t know the motivation is real like if I contact or whatever. But she she wanted that. And surprisingly enough it’s not the first time I’ve done that particular tattoo. Yeah right. But. Her vagina was super gross. It was like it was it was like a grown man status full of roast beef like it was going out and I got the idea that it was like kind of like when an old lady gets her eyebrows done she thinks that it’s going to look like a guy who looks like a Hollywood movie star like after I get this done like it’s going to fix her vagina. It anywhere I go I’m going to tell the whole story because it just it’s going to take too long but any which way I do the tattoo she says she likes that she goes into the back of the tattoo shop where a friend of mine is tattooing your husband and I hear some commotion back there and she’s throwing shit around like all around to go in she worked directly with her and as it turns out she’s like a schizophrenia or something and she’s off her meds and her husband is in the middle of getting a tattoo so she can even likely that he doesn’t want to you know fuck up his life with her shenanigans so she comes out and she said it’s not what I wanted it was this or that she made me get this in some way or another and I was like look I don’t I would never even suggest anybody if it looked like it was like the goddess Kate Nash. You know but wait for like her trunk struck but I got stuck in a wood chipper like a horse I want it I want to suggest that any which way. Like she starts freaking out and we all basically like threaten her and she leaves and then her husband was like I’m sorry. She’s always like this I don’t mind. Thank you for bringing her here. It’s not like it’s my job or anything any which way. There’s no punch lines that it’s just you ask me that’s like that because like the crazy shit I’ve ever dealt with consoling thing. Usually when to say oh this never happens as opposed to notion. She’s always like this like I was with somebody else to be a part of my nightmare that tone of defeat like he’s beyond of explaining it or trying to rationalize or even apologize. The statement of she’s always like that period. Welcome. I appreciate that honesty I guess. Well but there is more about it it was an all day thank you so I mean you mentioned limitations. There have to be some other eccentric people who come through tattoo parlors have you met many of the body modification grab and not. Well really this thing about that and I work in the shop that did like suspension are not like you know like pulling with the hooks and stuff like Hellraiser and know it like like hawks and then call no one ever gets like OK pager. Yeah I just I never really wanted to watch it. I kind of don’t like piercing and it’s not that I don’t I mean I have a couple. But it’s like there’s either piercing people or tattoo people in my opinion and the body modification people are way more into the piercing aspect of it in implants and horns and things and the tattoo people just like artwork on their skin. Did you know that you can see that documentary on Netflix on body modification. No yeah I was made to watch that for you minute long montage of piercing genitalia. Well that’s the thing. Yeah. And it’s well you know why would you want to do that. Well I mean I understand I understand a piercing. Our purposes but like there’s these guys are like sliced and exiled and like now do you consider any elitist not even spring break pleasure or anything insight into like how about anything. It’s just as well if you were giving your dicks class open it would make sense to me. If you’ve got eyes tattooed on your around that area like it seem to be like a collaborative art project where the pieces come together for some sort of it would be like one of those who look like God So that’s a mystery to describe thinkers you know it would look like me and teachers like I said that and the fact that there are some strange things that I’ve seen on the Internet and body modification generally is some of the very few things I can still as a thirty year old man make me go let me just let you have more. Yeah it’s like one when sometimes it’s not even like a shock value. It’s just like as read an article about a pair of twins one of whom gave one of his arms to the other twin so one of the twins can have three arms. OK when confronted with an instant twenty three arms like a total sociopath that he has the kind of charisma to know what he can I guess convince somebody to give away one of their own must like it must have been early in the world where he intended to resorb the twin into a kind merit form and they just failed to do it smell later in life is to consume the resource on tonight to him as well as like all things to you I took up parts of the donor twin donor twin gave him like a whole bunch of pieces a finger so this guy have like ten fingers but like seven of which were unnaturally long like Dracula from Bram Stoker’s Dracula very kind yeah. And then those of the third arm thing I was like I was definitely like that. Did I like the grand finale like the arms and because they’re twins. There is very. A little possibility of like rejection. So the don’t the don’t or twin just kept on handed them like like just organ after organ like is just is fricken weird but has anybody talked to this guy like had any insight as to what your motivation is like what. That’s not really the important thing the important thing is who the hell are you doing this with such surgical precision that you didn’t kill in the first three or four surgeries in they have like a black market surge of the kind of surgeon that you wake up one day intimacy a kidney and you’re in a tub of ice and these guys found him. Well I think you should reach for a future pod cast. We can leave him alone if he’s listening we don’t need you on our show will be just not well. Also in a documentary that included all the body builders as a form of body modification. I thought I agree with that but I find it objectionable actually. Yeah that’s why you should watch a documentary because they find the people getting horns and chip text stopped and ten pieces on equal levels everyone just consciously injecting steroids to be you know man beautiful. OK so is a tattoo body modification it’s a it is a by not cation and Shelly are breast implants and you know whatever else I mean by it. There’s a day everybody has a personal line and my personal line is tattooed on your face and she can’t show up to the P.T.A. meetings where you know do you know how messed up those body builders are Matthew. They’re creepy. You’ve seen it and they say they’re healthy but they’re dying when they’re forty or you know ten times larger. Yeah I mean definitely. I’ve met some ex body but I don’t I’ve never really hung out with the guys who are in competition but across that you’re going to run into at least someone who will openly admit. Two having done that it’s a little bit of a shame. Whenever you’re talking to lifters you’re like you know they always kind of you know are not too proud of it. Yeah I mean I’ve heard I’ve heard a quote and I wish I could say a word where it was from but it was and it was an article I was reading and it was about tattoos and it said that tattoo kin to a psychologist and he said tattoos can either be psychologically helpful or hurtful are harmless and I think that all body modification falls under that and I think that sometimes it takes physical fitness even extreme physical fitness to the point where maybe I’m questioning how healthy it is it can be either any one of those things like I mean I’m known people who are addicts and they become really into lifting and really into this and really that was like well maybe it’s better than Then you know drug addiction. You know in the same with every other form of buying out cation it’s either helpful or hurtful or harmless although those seem to contain the set of all sets right. I know when I don’t use and I don’t like it’s completely subjective. If someone is being messed up or if they’re just fine. Yeah I mean I tell people not to get a tattoo all the time you know because of my my experience and I’ve seen it doesn’t you know in this situation it just doesn’t work out. So I mean yes it does encompass all things but I think it’s it’s moderation and I think that it is the person in their situation and what they’re going through are you know their life and how it fits in their life. Right and it could be you know it’s not one size fits all analogy on the shop you can like identify the crazies before they come and attach themselves. Two your life. Yeah I’ve always been able to identify the crazies and that’s actually why being a tattoo artist is so good for doing comedy because I can read people and like before they even walk through the door I kind of have a feel of what their deal is that I can’t even explain it. I’ve just dealt with so many people and their motivations for doing what they do in the you know easy to read now. And I’ve always been able to identify the crazies except now I don’t really need the money as much and I can kind of be like oh you want this will so and so would be what I would like to help you you know one of the top five like red flags for a crazy person about to walk him back. There are so many but it’s like well I mean maybe like three days ago a very young person came in and we had to piercings at my shop. You know we might one day but we don’t. So a young woman came in and she said yeah I’ll sell clearings and I was like What. And like maybe we sell we sell piercing you know like we sell jewelry and she’s like yeah mom I’m a semi down here to get a clit wearing my quest so focused on in this person’s mind crank this you don’t need red flags people tell you everything for some reason. And so it’s it’s just crazy and it is weird how much people will tell you when they’re in a position of pain I guess and you’re close to them physically for hours. It’s like some weird psychological thing people open up to me in ways that are just like I wouldn’t tell anyone. You know it’s like. It’s like a barber or hairstylist except way more personal. So yeah if that answers your question well what led you into the tattoo world. Well you know I get asked that a lot. I mean it’s not like the happy things like you know career day or anything at school. But I’ve always been really I’ve always been really into art and drawing and I just really enjoyed that as an outlet. And I wanted to be a studio artist meaning like you know you sell your art studios and things like that but it just it it’s not it’s not very realistic for a lot of people which is sad that isn’t valued more but it’s not and I just I worked crappy jobs like waitressing and things like that when I was a single mom and I liked to get tattooed and I just didn’t have the confidence to do it and one day my mom of all people who does not want me to get tattooed and then let me be a tattoo artist said you know why don’t you look in the tattooing. You know you’re you’re good at drawing you like tattoos why I should look into that and it just like went off my head and I just kind of I hustled and I got a portfolio together and I went around looking for friendship and it happened for me pretty easily. It doesn’t happen for a lot of people very easily. It tends to be very hard if not impossible for a lot of people to get in better shape. But it’s just kind of also on the place and I got one. What do you win. Whenever if someone comes to you looking to study under you. I mean are you look at their portfolio or you look at their attitude how do you decide whom to invest your time and energy. Well the first answer is always no. And then the second answer is always no. And then the third answer is always no. And then like about twenty times and if they still want to do it and it’s it’s like slave labor. I mean he really is like well you know it’s pretty sweet. And you know you’re you’re in fact you know you invest a lot of time and money if you’re going to impress someone and teaching them and you really don’t know if they’re going to leave you so you might not ever get a return on your investment. And so you need to know that somebody is really eager to learn and willing to pay their dues. And some people charge for an apprenticeship and I don’t I don’t believe in that because if I had to pay for my apprenticeship I wouldn’t be here. You know you just basically got to pay with hours and hard work and scrubbing toilets and being poor little you know things like that. So it’s it’s a lot tougher than what people think and I you know once a week someone comes in looking for an apprenticeship but they don’t really know what they’re asking for and they don’t ever pursue it. Yeah I’m more than used to be very very lax with their tattooing ops and basically the the shop was the only only thing that needed to have a licence and then the only thing you need to do to get a licence was to pay a bunch of money and some doctor who says they visited your shop would sign off and they never do and it was just this big thing and I’m actually part of the Florida tattoo artist skilled and they they hired a lobbyist and they change that law and now it’s every tattoo or has an individual license to make sure that they know about blood borne pathogens and things like that because it was really a public. You and also an industry issue because in other states where they have tried to outlaw tattooing they’ve used statistics from hospitals and said And if somebody comes in from a tattoo related injury like an infection or something like that they go oh well this is why we should stop tattooing and such and such county or such and such date and but they’re not taking in account because there are no laws that that was done out of house by Jimbo or a trailer in his kitchen. And it’s the laws separate him protect real life and start two hours who are doing the right thing from Jimbo in his trailer and it gives us a lot more credibility. That sounds like I don’t know I just don’t argue that well. But prohibition just leads to only criminal activities that are completely without oversight. So you end up with infection. I mean I guess it. Yeah it’s a good way of putting it I mean if it ends up with you know people with the wrong agenda of just completely like a completely OUT LYING it having fuel to that fire. Do you have a book for just the trends for new tattoos. So like Justin is trival armbands or infinity symbols or sultry eyes. Now there should be I mean there’s plenty you can to books and sometimes I will get through and then I’m like oh man that is so eighty’s or the ninety’s. But you know they really should be I haven’t seen one there could be but there’s a lot of tattoo artist means and things like that are curious as to what the tattoo artists are writing about you know the idea of a tattoo is appealing to me for a couple years. There but I was never able to find anything in the world that would be permanently cool. You know I mean like I was just so convinced that like you know if I got like an alligator one day I’d be pretty convinced that I would hate it. Two or three years. Like there’s some things that are timeless obviously like like if you make the Olympics get the rings on your bicep. Obviously everyone should do that if you’re in the Olympics. But how do you go about like finding tattoos for yourself that you’re pretty confident you’re going to love for the rest of your life. I have an advantage if I Kyra know where people go wrong and that’s why I was telling you earlier like sometimes I tell I turn people I say no you don’t want that because you’re going to hate it. In two years you know. So you know I know where people go wrong as a tattoo artist that kind of helps. Here’s the thing if you like something just make it as just dumb it down to the most simple thing in the world like if you like nature and you like flowers gets a really good bass artist to do some flowers on you and in five years ten years twenty years on the road you’re not going to say I hate flowers now I’m like that’s not if you can if you get something so specific that it’s like well this is about my significant other or this is about whatever it’s gonna get a little hairy. You never know where your life can take you. The only tattoos that I have ever regretted were just poorly done tattoos that had nothing to do with the subject matter. You know that that’s. And those are the really the only other than liking stuff or significant others or anything like that those are really the only tattoos I see people regret is poorly done once. If that says anything then the girl her her nickname was buns and her wasted boyfriend. It’s a tattoo on his ass of the word buns and then they move up and he’s like No no I was asleep in parts of my body. This is heavy cream and I mean you can get creative with your shame but he knows this. And probably some people from my high school or something. Yeah I just feel like I wouldn’t want the apprentice working on me if I’m going to a tattoo parlor like I could understand maybe like getting like The Apprentice barber to do my hair that one day because if they screw up just take a little in this can do the Infinity symbols they get this much that’s what made you know OK that’s what they do they do and so many symbols and super simple stuff on people who don’t mind or you know it’s just or their friends and family and I’ve seen apprentices who just you rock straight out the gate. They’re just super good. And I mean if you saw their work he would go yeah I would totally get tatted but I saw this week I was in order and I saw a mother and daughter pair by mother and daughter I mean grandma and mom with matching tattoos the small of their back and I was just I was so proud of them because if anything the grandma had a more conservative tattoo Dr Who I get to like a competition to see like how much more real estate on her back she could take up with this enormous butterfly lower back that money that’s been popular the tramp stamp. Still a thing. People get it as much as they used to. I don’t think there are great as long as they’re not like fairies or some gay you know like I need to say that but I think that the shape of the traditional non-traditional but you know like when you went. When you see when you think of like a tramp stamp or a lower back to do whatever you want call it is very complimentary to a woman’s figure and there’s a reason that most are designed that way and I just I haven’t I can’t remember the last time I did one but they’re not bad. I do have a close friend who got Newton’s second law tattooed in the smaller back. So he calls and I joked or that it was sex instructions that if you’re lacking in mass that you can compensate force with acceleration. Oh how nice. That’s a smart sex joke that I think her head into the into the bed board and knock her out that violent jokes are very smart. Domestic violence shelters either one you know we just poorly calibrated the variables in this factory when it became a criminal enterprise and for joy. OK So comedians in Florida are the cool people are the weird I think all comedians are pretty weird in general including myself but I know I am from southwest Florida and I did comedy a lot longer down there in like Fort Myers and Naples and places like that and that’s one from him and I stopped doing comedy down there and when I got really pregnant with my with my son really pushing it and then really frightening like I just couldn’t even stay up that late. Like there’s no way. And it’s a little bit pregnant. Yeah I’m so like I knew a lot of people down there and like I really got to know them and this and that and then I came up here to Central Florida and I just I’m just starting to kind of get to get to know a couple people and most of them are really really nice and. But you know there are comedians there are weirdos saying that you know it’s I’m not that social. And in a lot of ways and in a lot of them are neither so you know and sometimes when you do get to know a comedian you both kind of have your game face on your around each other like my have my husband when I’m around another comedian he’s like I mean it’s like a red and black around each other I can be ready to share turn out comedian each other constantly. So who do come from a crush like the territory. It’s just pride it’s just like the thing is it’s like for me and I think for a lot of other comedians it’s like you really want them to think you’re funny more than the audience because they know what they’re talking about. So if they think you’re funny it’s better than a dumb ass on the end of the par who’s had three drinks of course he thinks you’re funny he said the word time like he did you know. But like somebody who writes jokes for them to think you’re funny you know it’s a it’s much more flattering and I tend to get intimidated by other comedians because I’m like you know but. But who gives a shit what anyone else thinks I know I mean Richard Pryor said it Eddie Murphy said you know are they write you checks. Yes Are they cashing. Yes Then shut the fuck up I mean that meaning King said it to him in all the openings every single book at least in the eighty’s and early ninety’s when he still gave a shit. Yeah he was right. Essentially he was basically writing an apology to all of his university friends back at the University of Bangor arrays like yeah I know it’s schlock but it sells and then and then a very well I don’t know if it was a needful things or if it was in one of his later works. Who says I just make money now and like from your perspective is that just about making the audience laugh and fuck off what the critics say. It completely is and that is my problem and I think that’s the problem. Like I haven’t made it in comedy. And I I really feel like or at least even by my definition which I am I’m not a competitive person so my definition is probably different than a lot of people but I really feel like the day I’m going to be really good in comedy is when I’m going to feel the same way about it that I do with tattooing because I’ve been doing tattooing longer and if someone else talk shit about me or my shop for some reason or whatever I really wouldn’t even care because I yeah I know I’ve been doing it long enough to know what I’m doing. But with with comedy there’s still an insecurity because I haven’t been doing it long enough or long enough to feel that way and I think it will come but you know that that’s my problem. It’s a really funny idea to me though because nothing personal but it seems like comedians are all kind of rejects and only because not only because of that they get this very unique perspective as an outsider being able to put pieces together and make everyone laugh about it see things ever when you got a group or rejects who suddenly get even more competitive with each other. It’s like no I finally found my thing I’m special welcomes Michael let’s step in on that time. It is completely correct. Like in you know they they say like you know not all comedians are kind of fucked up or you know they’re not all and I’m like yeah yeah I’m sure a lot of them aren’t but I don’t know any personally. I’m sure there’s comedians out there who aren’t complete fucking head cases but I haven’t met one. Oh no I mean I’ve heard of them like her in their famous so maybe that’s the P.R. they’re sending out I don’t know but I like it but I’ve heard and I heard you know there’s really level headed you know people out there are comedians but I just I don’t personally need a lot of them and you know if I did I want to know what kind of things a tattoo skill to identify the crazy ones and say oh OK you can you feel now you’re a comedian and to get a tattoo and write that you had to sum up their whole childhood anxieties you know. Yeah yeah but do you think we in turn each other too is that we’re not interested in who the other comedian is of the person were so interested in that’s the whole thing about how do you like this is who I am this is you know I am this is who I am like we’re both trying to like just this morning out there that don’t really get to know each other I don’t think so The possible that the really well adjusted comedians are just the ones who are so much cash that it doesn’t matter where you’re from as it has to be the opposite of that like cash just enables every dysfunction you have to be twice as loud. What about Jerry Sandusky is loud. Anything that major Seinfeld weird now or weird or antisocial or anything that maybe we don’t say but he might have privately is now is so much more enabled Now that is like a billionaire or maybe nobody pointed out because he’s a fuckin billionaire had to do. It’s maybe nobody’s calling the weirdo to his face because because I want because there’s something going in dollars I guess I would I mean I would end up somewhere fantasies about a billion dollars I would go into a teen sex porno for a billion dollars you know kind of teams talk their teams meeting I’m just going to back to what’s her name fair. Farah yeah her price was three million and gives to a billion year old two million max. She’s not that kind a whore commanded three million went to see him for a billion yeah. My asshole’s available so you know if writing checks would skew the going C’mon guys I’m watching now it’s like I really end when I tell people if they don’t believe me I really don’t care about money too much. I really feel like if you have a lot of money you’re not going to think you have a lot of money like everybody wants more money than ever and then those who know better. Yeah so it’s like I just don’t even think about it I think I’m rich and I’m pretty probably not the only people who are like the moment I hit this number. All my problems can be solved and I’m like That doesn’t make any fucking sounds like you’re just going to have bigger problems and take on new shit like you’re trying to solve everything with your summary. And there is so much wisdom in that and I think the appropriate at least the way I budget my life is I look at goals and if I’m not at those goals I’m still working harder. So let’s say your goal is one of my goals is to pay off my student debt as long as I have that debt there. I’m not where I want to be financially you know that goal may be different for you maybe you want to be challenged or maybe don’t give a shit maybe you maybe you want to have college education for your kids or really don’t give a shit I don’t care what you want but for me the healthiest way I’ve been able to interact with money is to say all right it’s necessary we have to have it one of my goals for this month. Eat. Don’t fuck up my mortgage payment and bills. All right do we have enough money for that. Yes OK All right next thing do we have enough money to throw at other things that I really want to get done. For example the student loan issue and you know that’s that’s how I define it if you like like Max that if you if you start going after I need to have a quarter million dollars a year why you know I mean if if you just want to have money because it’s a pissing contest then the pissing stream whatever. And will never respect him to the point we have more money than him. So it is not you never going to accept her idea you know and I know I have a very good advantage of. I’ve been really core So like any day that I’m not back there I’m like ecstatic all the time and all the time and I’m just excited like I eat organic food now and then I make like yeah I like that that’s what I say that’s the only thing I spend more money than other people on just like I spend money on food. But I like it. And but like I you know my husband he’s been like you know like poor as in like you know he’s often on his own or whatever when he was like one nine hundred twenty or whatever but like I have been so poor but like I just appreciate things more than he does and I am I thought I kind of feel bad that he that he hasn’t had that experience. Well because he is one of those people he really thinks like well if I have this then if I have this much then it will be good and then he gets it and then he’s like well you know what if I have that other thing that be good. Personally what was the path to escape poverty. Working. I wish I had something more profound but no I just want you know I found what I wanted to do and I did it and it was really really hard in the beginning I when I was an apprentice I also had another job at a restaurant and I made maybe a hundred and thirty dollars a week and my rent was one hundred dollars a week and it was the poorest I’d ever been. I had a baby. Clink. I was pretty damn poor and you know when I drove her every day to her dad’s house you know I paid a two dollar toll every day I’m not great at math but it’s not looking good at this point. Let’s take a spade and pole. Yeah. Because well because it’s all of it. So it was kind of rough but I just kind of I really feel like if you know what you want to do just to use that and a lot of people get into well what is where my parents want me to do what is the nearest thing that makes my and I you know that’s all right because we need to you know we need bankers but in the end just to just do a job that you really want to do because if you keep at it eventually you’ll start making money. There’s a just kind of like the love allows you to keep the attention on the fixation and just just show up on time and don’t look close and work hard at school OK pull over from people on time in the industry is not allowed to see her going to do the job right now so for us we’re OK just with a lot of Haitian engineers to put themselves out of business but you know the intention I think they don’t feel as though they have it until a few minutes killed it and that other people can do is going to sign it just seems to me like in that situation though I think for me the hardest thing to get through because I haven’t been to that level but it’s just not. Letting yourself to sleep give operative depressed it seems like they’ll be the hardest challenge. Well yeah but I have been there and I’ve been depressed and I’ve been where I am now and I’ve got depressed the whole money has really very little to do. I mean yeah you can’t give up is a thing and you just gotta suffer through it and you gotta just have faith that if you keep working things will turn around and and being in an employer now I don’t want to be like these kids today. But seriously these fucking kids today fucking kid like with her life. Every night you know the hardest thing about hiring people is that they don’t want to show up to work. Like I’ve had just people and indeed want to artist is like a literally the most laid back job in the world like mind my job like description for these people like maybe show up when you say you’re going to show up and you make your own schedule and don’t look too high if you can’t do that. Well I guess that’s your level of work ethic like that too hard for you. You’re a fucking loser hard to find people like us like you know you are. And finally the hundred times better. I don’t smell I like that’s all I want you to do so I don’t harass the customers like it’s it’s very simple job as a tack do what you can find some like really nice pretty order that you like and start charging them to bring in there are doing OK hygiene threshold for work today so the spring is a little like a body that be good to good money if money is not what it’s all about what makes life. With linen for Yeah well now the question of what I’m saying. You tell I mean you know the question but are you I mean you just follow the money as is not what it’s about. So you know what gets you up in the morning. I would love to see my children. No no I mean I don’t want to be a mom and I love them as people and I’m glad they’re in my life and I’m you know that definitely I wouldn’t have I definitely wouldn’t be where I am that it wasn’t for my kids but I really love working and no matter what I’m doing I kind of see it is work. Like even stuff that I don’t get paid for. Like I just I love I love working and you know I don’t I really wouldn’t have that if I didn’t have my kids. So my kids are part of it. You know having my daughter early she’s eight and having her when I got pregnant seventeen. Like I’m really just I’m not sure that I would have the drive that I have now and I think it’s just the drive to do better whatever that is and do better for the end. And I you know I want as far as my business I want to make other people wealthy and I just want to improve their lives. So I don’t know if that if that answers your question. Well you mentioned something that caught my ear there since this drive that you want to you know grow your business you want to do good things for other people and you just told us about how there are some losers out there who can’t even show up to work. Not high. You know your parents that they do they help you out like you’re like a strong Protestant work ethic or did you just wake up one day and say. All I want to have a sense of accomplishment. It was not really hard and yet just not yet just don’t look type. That’s how you see that. Well I was raised mainly by my dad by a single dad. And you know I saw my mom from time. But my my dad was really more of my my caregiver and he was very very hard worker. Most of his life and he’s kind of a hillbillies from West Virginia and just a just a really hard worker. But for most of my my life knowing him he was disabled he had Zima from living hard and fast and working and smoking cigarettes and all this stuff and. Especially towards the end of his life like the last ten years was really hard and I took care of him a lot. And we were more like partners than we were father and daughter like you treat me as an equal. And I worked for him from a young age. And he I just saw him want to work and he couldn’t and it was kind of like I enjoy I always enjoyed working into I kind of have that person I we have a very similar personality and I just really felt like Man that must really suck and he wanted to provide for his family wanted to work he wanted to just accomplish things and he was a really big part of the Union and they offered him a job after it to be a union leader and he couldn’t take it and do things that he believed in and that he cared about. And. That just kind of broke my heart and I I really felt like as as long as you’re able bodied and can work and can and can make a difference in the world you should because a lot of people don’t get that chance anymore. It seems like it seems like it’s always hope to have like at least people knowing that there’s something something needs to take time you know like I was saying earlier like I wouldn’t have motivation if if I hadn’t had a kid young like most people say to having a kid parents or life but I don’t think clearly it didn’t for me like I I don’t know if I would have I just want to motivate most people don’t want to do shit and life are forced to and I was just kind of forced to ports live by them. I wanted them with a husband. We married about almost three years and we’re both at that by the way I’m not the only one that’s like a leg we both missed our anniversary one time likelihood later going to look at it two hundred thirty years or whatever. I think you should that alone will both Miss Universe are going to be cool. Yeah we must just look at each other like we are in a first very tough spot I think you know like what should we go do you want to go out or something like well you don’t want to get up. We know where we’re pretty good couple. Yet where We’re complete opposites in a personality. So it tends to work. There’s something to it. He’s total type A personality. Very. Like competitive in this and that type A for Apple. You know what that means. Yeah but nobody you know that it takes all kinds around the world and he takes care of that I just would never even think of to take care of and I take care of the other half and it ends up working. But funny enough he is the funniest person I’ve ever met. Unintentionally so like to thank you for your just fine and he’s not making a joke. Well just to point you. And isn’t that what’s weird about it is that yes he’s like tried to write material with me and like he’s like I don’t like you for a joke and it’ll just ramble on and go nowhere and you’re like wow I like this in the consensus and it’s just it’s a train wreck. And when he just says normal things about his just just conversation it’s a funny show you’ve ever heard in your life like one of the funniest things early on in our relationship was I used to always have my hair short and funky stuff and he would he said oh I really like you haircut. It’s like a fat girl haircut and I went What. What the fuck you know I just you know I just started dating I’m like what he was like no it’s good because like fat girls always have really cool haircut but it’s like way easier than like not eating a Philly cheese steak. Well you’re right. And a couple years ago my mom was in town so we went to the Parliament House which is a local gay club in Orlando and I think to my moms I don’t know I just wanted to make an uncountable. I don’t know but. So we went to the courthouse and it was really cool like I’d never been there and and he and he was going on and on. About it like he cannot be more masculine in Type A personality and he was going around the place and like because he’s like those there’s a hotel there’s like a nasty hotel connected to that to the club. It was in the same place like that. Yeah. And it’s like he’s like why don’t more straight places. He’s like gay people have it all figured out and we talk to this really nice gay guy and he’s like he was like and these are these guys like they really they really have it all figured out they have like the fashion sense they have that you know the money making this whole thing is amazing and he’s like they just have it all figured out except for like you know like what about the P.F. it must go like that although you know they know where to put their penises. They just don’t agree. Just not wear one except for the whole family straight thing and thing else is perfect for him. Yeah and it’s like I don’t know it’s just not you know you know the invention of a tender some guy says grinders like how do the days I would think you know so well. Well I mean I saw grinder way before I saw tender. I mean that the straight people got got tender from Grindr it’s the same damn company. And it was my fucking my what I saw. I mean it’s it’s everything men want online dating to be it’s just no strings attached sex. It’s not even that it’s blowjobs. You’re walking down a street and a blowjob. Congratulations that’s grinder for you. They’re trying to create that for for for straight people except girls are like and I now know now we’re not going to be like that we’re going to make it to work for a little bit. But you know what’s funny about that is the whole reason that girls are into that is because tenure is Grindr to them. Like that’s exactly like they just have pics interface the entire time like of course in no way. I want to say something like it’s tender is to them the same thing as grinder because every guy I like is like own on this because I never I was never on tender like when I was single I was plenty of fish but it was the same thing it was just like like just the most horrible messages you’ve ever read in your life like just make you want to cry in the shower rocking back and forth. It’s not good because those are absolutely horrible and those people should be like put in a corner somewhere and like judged by it’s honestly hard to not sound creepy something a message on a dating profile but I wanted when I left and also shared with me some other stuff and like stuff looks totally normal is in a different context but just from like some weird way to think about it look scary as hell like no matter what you’re saying it seems hopeless. I just think that idea the whole thing’s a bad idea. I hate how people I don’t know. Here is how it’s done. Oh yeah it’s huge now I mean I just I was just talking to my girlfriend and I we met on Ok Cupid and that was not the first foray into online dating for me I was on online dating back when plenty of fish was around I started early in fact I started so early with online dating I didn’t even tell people about it people were like it was my old my old roommate that the Russian people walk by is that what you do on your computer there again I was like Belsen and I you know I just like totally like like hide it and yeah. Plenty of Fish and like they all have like there are ups and downs but from a boy’s perspective it’s extremely difficult. I mean you’re throwing out one unless unless you’re unless you say like I make a quarter million dollars a year and my father’s in politics unless your online dating profile starts off with that you’re looking at thirty messages to get one back maybe and if you send out thirty specialized individual. Thoughtful caring not to be used creepy possible message and that’s at a foreclosure time to get maybe like one message back a night per or maybe per week this is rough but on the other side it’s random penis and weird comments about you know going to bike on the other side two hundred fifty messages a day if you’re like one of more desirable girls I mean like that like the girls actually do a street a screenshot of their cell phone in a book that is like want to profile pics so they’ll have it for five hundred messages. Yeah it’s bad. I think there’s a personality thing there she’s making better profile but yeah those probably are the one you want to come on but the point does or Mandy no girl can be able to go through even fifty messages a day but you don’t see a personality on there and that’s the biggest problem is that when I first met my husband and but by the way I think my husband’s very handsome. Now if I was feeling a little bit. Now I say thank you that you couple years older than me and not a lot but I’ve always I’ve always liked older guys because they don’t I’m tired in the end really you know when I when I first met him it was like at a bar and he started talking to me and I was like oh great an older guy talking to me I don’t know any good you know like I just it was just like OK like it wasn’t that he wasn’t good looking it says I Didn’t you know there was no personality there but then he started talking to me and he didn’t hit on me at all and that’s the most attractive thing you can do is have you shit together enough to not hit on a woman and just talk to her about literally anything other than her vagina. Do you think I’m looking straight there is no game is the game. He’s an older man who knows how not to play. A game and that is his game. His game is that he’s been talking about you would really get to know the real Q You didn’t know were gay men I’m no different Also if you ask about the eyes tattooed and some of the vagina saved from like to think I know yeah I’m just trying to stay classy. Right. But other things like women get hit on so much and they know it has nothing to do with how good looking they are. I mean or or maybe any good at your view of their personality and that in itself is like does shit to your self-esteem because you just know they would fuck anything like that but the one person who’s interested or pretends to be interested in you in tracks you right off the bat so that all those dating sites just a desperate test of being on a dating site and and I’ve been there. It’s not attractive because you know I don’t know if I think that’s yeah there’s always going for a profile pic I would not take my husband as he has been is I think he is if I’m only going on a profile pic I would pass them up completely and I fell out of my lives you know. So you’re going to swipe left. Yeah. Or whatever that you know it the I have a bad habit where probably ninety five percent of the time I’m using online dating as a service is what I am too drunk to know what I’m doing and it was not good. That’s only if you’re really creative. Most recently the way I kept it together the best because the whole thing was totally normal rational nice guy reference to social likes of in the last paragraph kind of as we’re going off the rails a little bit and she said her favorite book was Stranger In A Strange Land which is by Robert Heinlein aka It’s a weird book. It’s about Martians or why not but I asked her So what was your favorite part of Stranger In A Strange Land. The legal is to conflict over Martian property rights or the manic sex call trying to bring peace to the Charlie Manson culture ideology. She did not get back to me but to be fair that was the most accurate way to describe it. OK So while I’m broached into creepy guy territory that was completely appropriate to the situation just how to defend myself there sorry Randy. Yeah I mean but you know if she couldn’t appreciate that and that just meant that she wasn’t the one I think and yet that was I mean all my dating has a lot of negatives. But then sort of dating dating has a lot of negatives. With all my dating you’re going to be more shallow you’re going to not give someone the time of day who you would normally would. That being said I mean if you’re single anything boy or girl where are you going to find a larger pool of people who are openly single you know I mean it’s it’s so convenient that I don’t see it going away in fact when I was like Oh well I see a growing like a lot in the future. It’s how people move now is that I think I and I I hate to say this because I am one of those weird people that reads too much and I think sometimes OK if you think like OK I’m some level technology and something behind it the system or whatever they’re choosing our mate for us like cattle. Like there’s like extremists these are your options. Here you go and fight the illusion of choice it’s a fight now on Google. If my let’s say I’m a conspiracy nut because I am. OK so there’s that. But I go on one conspiracy not web site. Now from now on every time I google anything they all show up to close the gap. So now I’m thinking and I have a very limited worldview when everyone dies because those because of the Internet and they’re separating us. That’s why they’re making us not very polarized. So now you think I’m dating sites it could it could be the same thing it can be like one of these. He’s in the people we want you to be with I don’t know where there could be something awful or have been pre-screened is likely to get those matches they do place for some they do they absolutely do. I read about this was it OK to pay towards it. This came out I was one of his own and yet if you’re like a six you know like C six I’m a couple five but you’re going to get No ten and I can see any twos they’re going through it some people who are basically in your hotness will still go on like the level of conspiracy theory that you were getting at. It’s like Google has such a precise image of our like marketing profile from everything we do on there right. So like it’s feasible that they might they might get to a point where they can actually describe our personalities well enough through their digital metric that they could start matchmaking with greater success in the relationship than people being randomly out there just in the public or even online of the profile. Yeah but they’ve invented your personality. They get less That’s true. So it’s not only Iraq. I mean you know what I don’t use those exactly the same type stuff. A chicken and the egg situation if you really think about it. Well yes like how do you know you desire something unless you see it as for so you know that’s why marketing is justified it’s existence forever. Yeah I mean I mean no no really is below and I mean again of course it’s easy to sit there and say oh you didn’t realize you just needed the Snickers did you. But then turn around and say you didn’t realize that you didn’t. Needed fuckin hammers. I mean it’s not that basic unless you ever saw before I’d be like god damn it if only I had something that just come like hit things in the day like taking out the kind of man invention that you see the hammer like I got to tell I want to know about these things but knowing there’s Belling hammers it’s not one good when you’re shaping people’s mortality and not based on their own experiences or human interactions but you’re basing them off of invented things that are just a spinoff of the situation like this and to mess with Google I just click on fuckin everything I like different opposing views like I just may have no idea who I am. Like that’s OK another Democrat you know pro-choice you know who I think you know it’s just like I’m all over the place and they’re just caught. I can see it’s almost like the hamster like in the wheel trying to go in can I do it on purpose because what’s on file for that too. That kind of person or group and you all around find out exactly how to sell to your quirkiness for an advertising entourage that is terrifying and then frankly as short of a massive depopulating event called all this this privacy nonsense has gone away. My privacy nonsense. Actually that’s great. No no sarcasm. Privacy is a thing of the past. I mean like just as we’re talking about something as simple as one search scaly recorded forever to be somewhere some people are going to have that for infinity and doesn’t matter if Google or figure out who are the next best thing and you know our kids you know by the time they’re thirty they’re going to have digital profiles that make our digital profiles look like total shit and us kids are going to have their sophisticated marketing toward them and it’s not going to go away billions of dollars fueling this that it’s only going to grow. Yeah so she marries Ramon’s. It’s going to drown. No not at all it was kind of a new normal. I mean like you say you know it’s over like there’s a zombie apocalypse is just like this is life now you know the contents of the mind came originally I was the only thing I don’t like about it is that people can’t relate to each other by human level anymore like I have very complicated views and they’re based on my own experience and I think a lot of people don’t have that anymore they don’t have sympathy towards people on an opposing view towards them anymore because it’s like those people are the problem with the entire world and it’s not only do they just have a different background than you and we should be able to discuss it without trying to lie to each other on fire or something. But it’s and that’s my that’s my biggest problem with it it’s fine with traditionally hammers and it’s fine if you’re looking for a mate. I just don’t think it’s fine to turn people against each other who has basically the same wants and needs and should probably just talk to each other about it instead and try to find a solution instead of being told that they’re going to be used and then they just go OK Does that make any sense. I think you’re really having a big one where all of our media whether it be the Internet or television. People have gotten so good at propaganda and whether it be propaganda for our government or propaganda for believing in a certain it doesn’t matter what it is propaganda gets so increasingly narrow that what I mean by narrow is they can identify you and just and just hit the thing that’s going to make you tick. To to with such scientific precision that it is indistinguishable from brainwashing and you’re going to have I mean this is like one nine hundred eighty four where you know people are going start to say things like well we’ve always been at war with these danger because if you just say. In the right way for long enough people it is going to go along in the terms propaganda and public relations were invented by the same guy that Sigmund Freud Sigmund Freud and nephew his name was something Bernays he was a World War One propagandist for the United States government who flooded European newspapers announcing America as liberators saviors. So everyone welcomed and in through all the borders they thought I’m sure I can apply this anon wartime setting and so he became the king of all advertising post World War one. He’s the guy who actually made cigarette smoking which was a social stigma that women weren’t allowed to do into an expression of their freedom against the system and so smoking for women became the he was able to basically change the public’s mind set of what it is and represents an hour to make cash that is loitering that his lawyer ing. When you take a narrative like how we’re going to win this case facts are really bad. How do we get women to smoke it’s looking really bad it’s a very masculine thing to do. Oh wait and then you have that stroke of genius. They pay people to do that and then we call them all kind of lazy. But yeah I agree I think it is brainwashing. But then Harry evil like isn’t it great great tendency and I think a lot of infinity ration this is you have a self and like we’re addicted to having one but the more we feed into a marketing persona or like the sense of what we’re measuring up to in the world around us then you don’t have one. You just have your inferior sense of inferiority or or maybe you can take some personal responsibility and you know look at other sources of information weigh the facts and you know stop blaming other people for you know your problems in life and the like but yesterday that’s your take on this. Well I mean I think is that there is a man you know as you just said it was brainwashing. Yeah it is it is brainwash. But are all are not always cool so now the Marines gather there say that they are like great Nazis or brainwashed if not these are brainwashed. Then we should say you know I’m trying to for every last ounce matter. Well my point is this is that just because people can manipulate you doesn’t mean that you’re absolved from falling into its traps so there is some degree of personal responsibility we all have upon ourselves. It’s incum
