Softball:
The Fremont High softball team took on Lincoln Southwest at the Schilke Complex, Tuesday night, and split a doubleheader with the Silverhawks. Fremont won game one on a walk-off two rbi-single from Peyton Ehyler to win, 4-3. In game, two, Lincoln Southwest held off the Tigers, 7-5. Fremont is 16-10 on the season and plays at Grand Island tomorrow. Lincoln Southwest is 24-7 on the season.

The Fremont High volleyball team dropped a 3-0 match at Lincoln Southeast, Tuesday. Scores were 25-11, 25-14, 25-15.
The Archbishop Bergan Knights defeated the Omaha Roncalli Crimson Pride, in volleyball last night, three games to none. The scores were 25-22, 25-14, 26-24.

The Midland women's soccer team plays at the College of St. Mary at 7:00, tonight.
The top-ranked Midland volleyball team plays at College of St. Mary at 7:00 tonight. The match will be broadcast on AM 1340 KHUB.
Golf:
The Nebraska men's golf team carded a 291 in the final round of The Jackrabbit on Tuesday to claim eighth place. The tournament was hosted at the Prairie Club, a par-72, 7,785-yard layout.
The Huskers shot 882 over the 54-hole tournament, after recording scores of 298 and 293 on Monday. Clemson claimed first place at The Jackrabbit, firing a team score of 847. Due to high winds, the first day of the tournament was cancelled. Play resumed on Monday, making it a 36-hole day for the men.
The Huskers will return to action Monday, Oct. 10th, at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic at Golfcrest Country Club in Pearland, Texas.
Softball:
The Nebraska softball team opened its fall exhibition season Tuesday night with a 7-6, 12-inning victory over Bellevue at Bowlin Stadium. The exhibition was scheduled to last 10 innings but teams continued play after the game was tied following the 10th inning.
Nebraska continues its fall exhibition season on Sunday with a doubleheader against South Dakota beginning at 1 p.m.
Soccer:
Three different Bluejays scored their first goals of the season as the No. 10 Creighton men's soccer team picked up a 3-0 victory over No. 12 Loyola-Chicago on Tuesday night at Morrison Stadium. The Bluejays improved to 6-2-1, while the Ramblers dropped their first match of the season and now own a 7-1-0 record. Loyola-Chicago entered the match as the only team in Division I without a loss or tie.
The Bluejays return to the pitch on Saturday night at St. John's. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Volleyball:
The Omaha volleyball team completed its three-match homestand Tuesday night, dropping a 3-1 (22-25, 22-25, 25-19, 17-25) decision to Western Illinois at Baxter Arena. The Mavericks are now 3-14 (0-3 Summit League) on the year, while the Leathernecks improve to 4-14 (1-2 Summit League). Three Mavericks had double-double efforts for the night: junior Sydney O'Shaughnessy (48 assists/12 digs), freshman Hannah Angeli (12 kills/14 digs) and sophomore Kayla Torson (10 kills/16 digs). O'Shaughnessy's was her team-leading eighth such effort of the season.
Omaha returns to the court on Friday, Sept. 30, kicking off its first league roadtrip with a visit to South Dakota State. The match is set for a 7 p.m. start in Brookings, S.D.,
