FREMONT, NE - A record number of employers - 75 - have signed up to attend Midland University's annual Career and Internship Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Wikert Event Center and is hosted by Midland's Personal & Career Development Center (PCDC).
“This event provides an awesome opportunity for Midland University students, alumni, and job seekers in our community to connect with outstanding employers about their internships, part- and full-time opportunities," said Connie Kreikemeier, the PCDC's executive director. "These relationships benefit individuals, employers, and ultimately, our local economy. We are thrilled to host 75 employers at this event and look forward to helping them connect with talented individuals.”
Employers representing a variety of industries from Fremont, Omaha, Lincoln and surrounding areas have registered.
PCDC staff has assisted Midland students in preparing resumes and professional quality LinkedIn profiles.
In addition to all current Midland University students, the Career and Internship Fair is open to alumni and the public.
