You know the eons old question of "if you could only have one?" I've been carrying my Colt LWT Commander .38 Super loaded up with 125 grain Corbon hollowpoints and I really like it a lot. I've been using a Custom Holsters & Gun Leather - Hopp Custom Leather IWB/OWB shark/leather holster IWB at the 4 o'clock position and it's super comfortable for all day long concealed carry.
Eric Hopp makes a terrific holster and I've used this one OWB as well with the clips removed. It's comfy either way, but it is much easier to conceal IWB.
I had an Ed Brown Bobtail mainspring housing installed by a local gunsmith and it genuinely helps conceal the sharp corner that pokes up under a garment of a 1911. For me it also feels great in my big hands and shoots really well for me.
The aluminum frame of the LWT Commander really lightens the gun up for carry without fatigue and I like having 10 rounds of .38 Super Corbon ammo and a spare magazine with 9 more rounds at the ready.
The tritium front sight combined with the plain Novak rear works well for me and the black cerakote and is very serious protective coating. The trigger on this pistol is 4 pounds as it came from Colt and it has no over travel.
This Colt is just plain perfection for me.
