TGV Cinemas ends year by officially opening 5 new locations: Bukit Mertajam, Miri, Seri Manjung, Kulaijaya and Section 14 Petaling Jaya

The wait is apparently over for those who stay in Section 14 Petaling Jaya. The highly anticipated cinema at the demolished, collapsed, rebuilt (which took ages) and reopened Jaya Shopping Centre is finally be opening by Christmas (no specific date yet) and there will be 8 halls, 929 seats, 64 beanies (first row bean bags), wheel-chair allocations and both 2D & 3D format.

TGV Cinemas have announced that their new outlets at AEON Bukit Mertajam, Penang; AEON Kulaijaya, Johor; AEON Seri Manjung, Perak; Permaisuri Imperial City Mall (PICM) Miri, Sarawak and Jaya Shopping Centre, Selangor will be opening before new year's day and the first ones to open are Bukit Mertajam and Miri on 18 December, marking TGV's first cinema in East Malaysia.

On the day before (17 Dec.), TGV will be having an Open House at those two opening locations with free screenings of Maleficent, Transformers: Age of Extinction, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and Interstellar at 2pm and 5pm, and free 1,000 popcorn sets to the public while stocks last.

In addition to that, TGV will also be organising the "30 Days of Goodies" at all 5 of their new locations whereby each day, customers can claim a free goodie such as movie passes, popcorn and drink vouchers as well as movie premiums.
