I had taken the stars & stripes lounge pass. So, when you go for your OFC you can buy this pass for Rs 400. Its a lounge where you can wait and then they take you directly inside, basically you skip the outside line. It was helpful to me because today there was a lot of rush, but its upto you if you want to avail it or not.
VO was a young female, she was very sweet.

I: well , I need to point out an important fact. I have verified this from the university’s website and have also got it clarified from Ms. XXX who is the Asst. Director of my program there, that the Tuitions and Fees as mentioned in the I-20 is for my ENTIRE program and not for only 12 months. So if we add up the additional living expenses, the ENTIRE COST comes to be only $85000. And my sponser has liquid assets worth $XXX which covers the entire costs of my course.

M: It’s more application based, with courses like Solid State Electronics, Solid State Physics whereas I’m mainly interested in pure Physics, theoretical Physics

Then after 2 mins(actually I had also shown Insurance Policy's surrender value as my liquid assets apart from Saving Account balances,FD's and Stocks)
VO: Is your Dad going to surrender his Insurance policy for your education? (In a loud tone)
Me: Mam the need for this wont arise. Actually the I-20 amount is a inflated amount. The living expenses are less mam. I will be sharing a apartment with three other students,so the living expenses will come down.
VO:(In a more angry tone) I understand this sir, but the I-20 says 45,000 dollars for a year, that is 90,000 dollars for two years..Are you going to wipe out all your dad's savings for your education?
Me: No mam. the cost of education will be less and I will also earn and give them the money back.
VO:(still the angry tone)When will you earn?

What do your mom and dad do ? How do you plan to sponsor your education? Why not IIT in India or UK, Aus, singapore etc ? If ranking was the criteria in selecting your University why did u not apply to stanford, MIT which are higherr ranked ? You know your University's ranking ? Why spend so much when IITs give u similar education at much cheaper tuition?

Me: yes, when I took the GRE I had not done any research at all on the schools n universities. When I took the GRE I understood that I could send my scores to a couple of universities for free. Hence, I sent my score to universities n schools around NY randomly...
