It's been a while since we've done one of these. Let's look at some stories around the internets.

Well this is disconcerting. Apparently there's a guy on Twitter who was making threats to blow up Jordan-Hare Stadium and mentioned wanting to cut off Gus Malzahn's head. That guy's got some issues. Even if it is just a twitter rant, it's not something you take lightly. It's also amazing how anyone could say those things and not realize they won't get out into the public and come to the attention of the authorities. According to the comments on that article (Oh Lord help me, why did I go into al.com comments?) the individual in question appears to be a Tennessee fan judging by his Facebook account and other tweets. I did not care to delve into that sad individuals life any further than the article to find out for myself, though.

The Opelika-Auburn News welcomes a new sports editor in Dana Sulonen who takes over for Mike Szvetitz.

Alex Byington recaps last year's Mississippi State game and the drive that showed the world just what Nick Marshall is capable of.

Ryan Black wrote about Anthony Swain's efforts to get back into the rotation at linebacker after the injury that kept him out of spring practice.

Kevin Scarbinsky is on the "Auburn is the best team in the country" train, now.

Brandon Marcello discusses stopping MSU's Dak Prescott.

Joel Erickson profiles the rise of JUCO transfer Devonte Danzey. It's going to be hard to argue the offensive line should not stay in the alignment it was in for the LSU game after that performance. Of course, we don't see what happens in practice for one player to beat out another, so Pat Miller may step right back into his spot once he's healthy.

The "Honey Badger" Tyrann Mathieu lost a bet to NFL teammate Jerraud Powers and had to wear an Auburn shirt.

Around the SB Nation corner of the internet, we've got a few good nuggets.

Our enemies for this week over at For Whom the Cowbell Tolls have a nice article profiling the Red Clay Brewing Company starting up over in Opelika. They have a series of articles on "ingesting the opposition." That sounds like a fun weekly column that we may have to find a way to incorporate over here!

The mothership has an article on the odds for players to in the Heisman Trophy. Our own Nick Marshall is 3rd on the list. Of the Top 10, Auburn will face four this season. Todd Gurley leads the pack with this week's opponent's QB Dak Prescott at #2. The other SEC players on the list are Texas A&M QB Kenny Hill at #8 and Alabama's WR Amari Cooper at #10.

And here on College and Magnolia our most excellent Xs and Os gurus Tuco and WarRoomEagle studied some film from Auburn's epic beating of LSU and gave us some highlights from the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Peggy wrote her always awesome Undercover Barner, Franklin Featherston recapped the weekend in the SEC, and I did a Twitter-recap of Gus Malzahn's weekly press conference.

I think that'll just about do it. I'll have a Q&A with For Whom the Cowbell Tolls up a little later, Josh will be by with his "Are We Going Back?" and we'll see what else pops up during the day. War Eagle!
