“I Don’t Know How” is the first single from Best Coast’s upcoming mini-LP ‘Fade Away’.
The track is a good example of the band’s evolution since their breakthrough album ‘Crazy For You’. With a new producer in the studio, the band had a new freedom that led to the creation of tracks that are faster-paced and more energetic than previous tracks.
“I Don’t Know How” stays true to the summer beach vibe of Best Coast, with a percussion build up that builds on the infectious vocals. Inspired by Mazzy Star, Patsy Cline, My Bloody Valentine and Ambien, the album is one to look forward to – and will be the first release on lead singer Bethany Cosentino’s Jewel City label on 18th October.
