Girls season 4 kicked off on Sunday night over on HBO, and returned to Sky Atlantic on Monday evening, so we’ve finally been reunited with Hannah, Marnie, Shoshanna and Jessa. To celebrate I’ve dedicated this week’s wish list to the eccentric New Yorkers, taking inspiration from their differing signature styles. We have mis-matching prints for Hannah, bright colours and trendy basics for Shosh, understated boho designs for Jessa and elegant investment-pieces for Marnie.
Throughout the three previous seasons Jessa’s wardrobe was always been my favourite – despite the fact I find her character pretty irritating – so I’m particularly excited to see how her style develops in the fourth series. You can easily channel her look by pairing River Island’s fedora with Topshop’s khaki jacket, a pair of tapered trousers or harem pants and heeled ankle boots.
