Four-Month YP Mentor Hawaii Program Includes In-Person Meetings,
Email and Phone Sessions
HONOLULU – The Chamber of Commerce Hawaii’s Young Professionals (YP) program today announced the launch of its inaugural YP Mentor Hawaii program. The four-month program matches YP members one-on-one, based on their professional and personal goals, with a senior Hawaii business executive.
“We are very excited to offer this exclusive opportunity to members of the Young Professionals program,” said Stanley Lau, chair of the YP program. “YP Mentor Hawaii goes hand-in-hand with our program’s mission of growing and developing young leadership here in Hawaii.”
Once accepted into the program, YP Mentor Hawaii participants benefit from:
A meet-and-greet with all program mentees and members of the YP Steering Committee
Three monthly meetings with mentor
Monthly phone call with mentor
Ongoing email exchanges, as needed, with mentor
End of program reception with all mentors and mentees

YP Mentor Hawaii program cost is $100 and is open to YP members. Applicants are being accepted now for the first cohort, which begins in January. To apply, email YP Steering Committee member Emily Pellin.
The Chamber’s YP program provides professionals ages 21-39 a forum through which to exchange ideas, grow professionally, share common interests and get an inside view into Hawaii’s business community.
