It's time once again for all novelists, would-be-novelists and secret writing masochists to look forward to National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). The yearly contest challenges writers to crank out a 50,000 word novel in the 30 days of November. That works out to approximately 1,667 words per day. It's fun! And maddening! For me, anyway.
