The Noise Figures hail from Athens, Greece, circa 2013, but their sound is more California, 1991. Think Green Day meets the Offspring meets nostalgia meets sunburn meets that time you drank too many Bud Light Limes on a beach. Their debut self-titled LP is out now via Inner Ear, and today we’re premiering the video for one of those album tracks, Out Of Your Mind.
It’s a chorus-heavy pop-punk off-shoot with handclaps, thumping percussion, and general chill vibes in a windswept hair kind of way. The clip features band members Stamos Bambaris and George Nikas running around sepia-toned landscapes, dunking each other’s heads in the ocean, and following a mythical horned woman into the forest.
