This was one of my most popular posts last year and for good reason; it’s yummy.

As we swelter and simmer down here in Texas finishing out the summer that always extends into fall I’m going to look at these recipes and start planning. The first day it hits 80 (that’s cold yall) I’m making stews, chili’s and spiced breads and eating until the thermometer goes back up to 90 – which will be the next day because we live in South Texas. But oh what a glorious day it will be for a few lovely cool hours.

Enjoy these wonderful recipes and let me know what your favorite is!

The other day I asked a few of my blogger friends here in Houston to submit a few of their favorite fall recipes to me so I could share them with y’all. They sent me some amazing southern recipes. What I learned is two things.

1. I’m starving.

2. I am a really bad and uncreative cook compared to these guys!

I want to live with them, all of them.  You will too.
