Matrix Fitness announced its Q1 results ending March 31, 2014.

Globally, the commercial fitness equipment brand of Johnson Health Tech. Co., Ltd. announced 20.1 percent growth in the first quarter over the prior year. The global numbers were fueled by especially impressive growth in Asia, with Europe and South America also showing strong sales numbers. The North American region alone grew by more than 24 percent.

“We’ve been able to attract new customers to the Matrix family with our breakthrough 7xi console technology and the industry’s best ClimbMill solution,” said Kent Stevens, the executive vice president of commercial sales for Johnson Health Tech North America. “We’re also seeing our established customer base coming back for upgraded products and repeat purchases. The combination is creating great momentum in the market.”
