Hello everybody, I am new to the forum and this is my first post (just registered, however I have been browsing here for a long time). I am a small engine mechanic, and really don't like working on cars (too many tight spots and complicated issues) but I still do all my own work on my '95 Teg LS. My car has 121,000 miles and the clutch recently started to go, so I replaced it (new exedy oem equiv clutch, new flywheel, new master/slave cylinders, new throwout and pilot bearings). I drained the trans and filled it back up with Honda MTF (old fluid didn't look too horrible) and obviously bled the hydraulic system. Shift fork had a little wear but looked okay. One of the trans mounts was totally broken (rubber completely separated) so it also got replaced. Sorry for rambling, just wanted to make sure you guys got all the info.

Now for the questions: my clutch is still engaging very high up in the pedal travel (I would say starts grabbing at least 2/3 of the way up from the floor). Yes I have adjusted the pedal height / freeplay to what it should be; I don't know what else I can do to make it grab lower in its travel, as I am sure that it probably shouldn't be acting like this.

Also... shifting has been notchy / very stiff lately (I would say started within the past 15,000 miles, which was before I pulled the trans.) Sometimes I take off and get rolling down the road no problem, but going from 2nd sometimes the trans just doesn't want to go into 3rd... like it just hits a "wall".... double clutching lets me shift no problem. I thought the trans might just be getting worn out, but there is absolutely no grinding or anything. Motor mounts all look fine, shift linkage is good and tight, don't think it's bent, bushing looks okay.... I'm just kind of at a loss. And I'm not an auto mechanic, so I might just be missing something obvious. Also, since I've had the car it "clunks" when I shift gears... one clunk leaving gear one going into gear... but it always shifted fine until recently.

Sorry this post is so long, thank you for reading, any help is appreciated!!!
