Our client, a global beverage company, is immediately seeking a Unit Sales Manager Designate with 3-5 years of explerience.  This role is considered a career "game changer" and is designated for promotion within this desirable corporation.

Unit Sales Manager Designate

This person contributes to company’s success by leading the sales and distribution strategy for a regional distribution center.  This broad leadership role encompasses sales, customer service, marketing equipment and warehousing operations.

Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

Effectively manage multi-functional satellite location, responsible for the success of the fleet, warehouse, sales, sales support, exempt and non-exempt workforce.

Maximize volume and revenue in a defined area in a direct store delivery go-to-market environment.

Cultivate strong relationships with key customers in the region.

Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance.

Coach and lead a team of sales professionals and frontline employees on selling and display execution and merchandising standards.

Effectively lead overall warehouse operations through consistent product availability, warehouse productivity, inventory, asset preservation and reliability and cost reductions efforts.

Develop, motivate and lead a large team of employees, both exempt and non-exempt.

Effectively influence multiple stakeholders, i.e. consumers, customers, employees, community, and functional partners.

Ensure the team delivers volume and revenue results while managing costs.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-pace, hands-on environment while making real-time decisions

Basic Job Qualifications

Bachelors Degree

Must have consumer packaged good experience in a direct store delivery environment and 1-2 years experience in managing direct reports.

4-5 years consumer packaged goods experience in a direct store delivery environment

1-2 years of people leadership, preferably in a sales environment

Preferred Job Qualifications

MBA or Masters degree

Experience with Unions/Labor Relations
