You may remember back in 2014 when we partcipated in a DIY Challenge called Creating with the Stars. We were paired up with one of our blogging besties, Mandi at Vintage Revivals in a head to head, month long challenge were we created epic DIY projects in only a couples days. This lasted for a full month and it was such a whirlwind experience and SO MUCH fun! Guess what, our guest today, Monica from East Coast Creative was the host of the whole crazy event and it was awesome! You have got to check out her blog! …after you see the awesome project she’s sharing with us here today!

Hi Guys! It’s Monica from East Coast Creative. I was super pumped when the Classy Clutter Girls asked me to be a part of this fun series! I’ve been in Christmas mode really early this year because I’m helping one of my readers with a big Holiday Makeover this weekend. I’ve been up to my ears in wrapping paper, lights, bells, and all things Christmas!

One of my favorite ways to decorate for the holidays is by adding holiday-themed artwork and prints, but sometimes what I can find in stores just isn’t my style. This year, I decided to design a few prints with some of my favorite Christmas quotes.

I love this Longfellow quote. I had it printed on a canvas which made decorating super easy. Pair it with a few wrapped presents (I always take boxes of pasta and crackers from my pantry to wrap as fake presents for decoration), add a throw, and voila you’ve got a fun, holiday vignette.

I designed these Christmas quote prints so that they can be printed as small 5x7s (perfect for a little framed hostess gift) or as big as a 36″x48″ massive poster. My favorite way to print HUGE art on a budget is to use engineer prints!

I love the truth of the Longfellow quote, but I also wanted to design something a tad more lighthearted as well.

My kids’ favorite Christmas move is Elf… I mean it’s SO good. There are about 50 hysterical quotes in it… Last year we had “He’s an angry Elf” on our walls for months! I’m pretty sure it was there straight through Easter (not exaggerating). This year we went with, probably the most famous Elf quote of all time…

For this print, I had it printed and framed with a thin, black frame. I love how it’s simple, but strong enough to stand alone and apparently my friend’s pup, Willow, really liked my styling…

Seriously, he’s the cutest little Christmas pup!
