About the position

As a Technical Client Support Representative you will be part of the Client Services Team who assist SkyTrac clients by providing support for aircraft installed Hardware and ground based Software platforms. These services are provided in liaison with the internal SkyTrac Sales, Software, and Engineering teams. Some internal IT support may also be required.
Primary Responsibilities

• Assist clients in all aspects of SkyTrac Systems software and hardware installation, configuration and training
• Maintain internal and client user documentation and update support site as required
• Provide client feedback to sales and usage feedback to software for feature development and problem resolution
• Special projects as assigned including new services delivery and development initiatives

Skill and Personality Requirements

• Minimum two years experience in a help desk/data center environment working with clients on a technical level
• Experience with MS Office, Windows XP/7, Internet Explorer, and Firefox
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure
• Proficient technical writer
• Self-starter, able to work in a team environment
• Proven ability to communicate and interact with clients in a professional, expedient and personable manner
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills

Additional (but not necessary) Assets

• Avionics/Aviation experience
• Experience working with a Sales & Marketing team
• Experience in Network Technologies (Firewall, VPN, Load Balancers, Switches, Routers)
• Experience in Linux, Exchange, Windows PDC’s, SVN

Preferred Education

• 2 Year diploma in the field of electronics or software/computer systems
