Description: The Braemar Group is looking to fill a new position with our growing company that is based in Kelowna. We build and operate award winning hotels in Western Canada with a plan for aggressive expansion.
Scope of the Position
The position involves a strong focus on internet marketing; to increase our properties presence on the internet through social media, content management, search engine optimization, and other effective web strategies. This new position also has a direct sales component to assist the hotel general managers to maintain current client relationships, joint sales calls, and prospecting.
Reporting to the Director of Hotel Operations, this position requires the incumbent to be self-driven and motivated enabling them to perform to the best of their ability without full time supervision.
Attributes Required
The successful candidate should have a post-secondary certification with an emphasis on internet marketing, direct sales, and / or marketing. A hospitality background would be considered a strength. A clean drivers licence is required and the candidate must be available for travel. Two to five years related experience desired.
