I have fished this rod four or five times. It is just lovely in all respects. 7' 2/2 hollowbuilt rod. Bill stopped making the rarer Perfection Series a few years ago. A good opportunity to skip the very long wait times for one of Bill's rods. One of the nicest rods that Bill has ever built in my opinion. His twist on the famous Edwards Wand taper. Light, crisp, medium fast progressive taper. A pure dry fly rod and a delight to fish. Built for small/medium water. Can really do it all and throw line both long and short. It can cast small size 22-24 tricos in the morning and hoppers in the afternoon. In fact, I have actually done that with this rod. Early EW Edwards aesthetics, medium dark cane, cocobolo butt cap, full nickel silver reel seat, short 4-1/2" Hawes competition grip, fine grain birch winding check. Rod comes with the red leather wrapped case and labeled tube cap standard on Bill's higher end custom rods. Rod is engraved on the reel seat. Bill has sadly stopped making this series of rod due to his difficulty finding nickel silver tubing for the seats. Asking $2000 delivered. PM if interested.
