This site can be useful to compare new vs old maps - side by side.

- type in an address
- click on the compare box and hit "slide"
- you can then pick a year on the left side of the map and a more recent year on the right.
- click on overlays and click roads and today's road labels will show on both sides for reference.
Grab the center line and move it back and forth to show old vs new.
To zoom in, click on the little circles on the bottom right. (I thought there was another way to zoom but it didn't jump out at me here on my home computer.)
