So this question falls more into a general fly rod building category but I've never installed this type of reel seat before. The old reel seat was trashed so it came off. The new reel seat is down-locking (Lemke LC10) and has a separate end cap. How do I anchor the end cap? Do I need to scuff the end of the spacer along with the inside the cap and use Rod Bond? Like I said, I've never installed a reel seat like this so any guidance would be great! Thanks!
