CiviCore is thrilled to share the news about the launch of Kids For Colorado Gives. Kids For Colorado Gives is an addition to the Colorado Gives website ColoradoGives.org, the online giving platform that features more than 1,800 Colorado nonprofit organizations. Kids for ColoradoGives is a fun and welcoming space that helps to introduce kids to the joys of charitable giving.
Lt. Governor Donna Lynne joins Kids for Colorado Gives as co-ambassador and is educating youth across the state about the ways they can give to impact the Colorado Community. “Kids for ColoradoGives is the only Colorado-based giving program that offers a real-world giving experience in a trusted online environment. That’s because it is a program of the Community First Foundation and powered by ColoradoGives.org. We believe it has the power to inspire a lifetime of charitable giving.”
In order for kids to give, they’ll first receive and redeem a Giving eCard. Then, they will designate donation amounts to the nonprofits of their choice through KidsforColoradoGives.org. The Community First Foundation compiles the donations and electronically transfers the donations directly to the nonprofit’s bank account.
