Star Wars fans rejoice because Disney have just unveiled the title for the next Star Wars flick, it will be ‘The Last Jedi’.

Director Rian Johnson will be taking control of the cinematic aspect of the upcoming film, with this being the first time he has worked with Disney. The film continues on from Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), where fans get their questions about Rey and Luke Skywalker answered, like why was he living isolated from the rest of the Jedi world?

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

The cast includes the late Carrie Fisher (Leia) who tragically passed away on December 27, 2016. Adam Driver returns as Kylo Ren, John Boyega becomes Finn once again. The rest of the cast features Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Gwendoline Christie, Anthony Daniels and Domhnall Gleeson. Star Wars newcomers are Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran and are all set to appear in the film.

Disney made the title announcement via Instagram with an image depicting the infamous intergalactic logo with the new heading.
