Prof. Anirban Gupta, Director, PCTE-IHMCT receives The Best Hotel Management College 2013 Award at Pushpa Gujral Science City, Jalandhar.
Ludhiana, January 17, 2014: PCTE- Institute of Hotel Management received The Best Hotel Management College 2013 Award conferred by Punjab Technical University at its 18th Foundation Day ceremony. The award was received by Prof. Anirban Gupta, Director, PCTE-IHMCTat Pushpa Gujral Science City, Jalandhar. A huge turnout of Senior Educationist along with many International students was witnessed on the occasion. The award is in recognition of leadership, development, promoting innovative pedagogies and industry interface in Hospitality Sector.
PCTE Institute of Hotel Management started in August 2007.Third batch is now being placed. It has alumni placed across the globe in countries like Singapore, Canada, Kuwait, etc and also with best in the country, including Taj Group, Oberoi Group, Crowne Plaza, Radisson, Devi Resorts, Tajsats, Marriot, The Leela, Le Meridian, Hyatt, ITC Grand Chola, Shangri-La, The Lalit, Intercontinental, Accor, etc. Apart from placements, Institute of Hotel Management organises Chef Competitions and Food Fests biannually. Harpreet K Kang, Dean, PCTE said “We create both high skilled professionals and entrepreneurs as promoters to Hotels, as Event Managers and Wedding planners by our practical approach towards conducting the four year degree course.”
Dr. K N S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes congratulated the students and faculty members of the Institute for their sincere and committed efforts. Dr. Kang said that we at PCTE work towards overall development of the students and faculty so that they can compete with the best in this competitive environment.
