Sulley Ali Muntari has moved to clear doubts about the state of his marriage with Menaye Donkor, after rumors made rounds on social media.
It was alleged earlier this week that the couple were having issues that had caused Sulley to begin divorce proceedings in Italy. The allegations went further to explain that Menaye didn’t attend Sulley’s mum’s birthday party because of the impending divorce. The stories also sought to gain some credibility by alluding to Menaye’s public appearances without her wedding ring.
But Sulley has dispelled all the rumors with a simple message 24 hours to the start of the World Cup in Brazil, where he is expected to play in integral role in the Black Stars’ campaign.
“I miss you my love Menaye Donkor,” he posted on Instagram, with a picture of the two in a tight pose.
Menaye has since shared the post and is preparing for the 10th anniversary of her foundation.
