The UK is considered to be Cint’s largest potential market in Europe and we are looking for a high quality candidate that havs the personality, drive, motivation and communication skills to help us exceed our expected revenue goals.
We are looking for a structured new account opener with at least 5 years of experience in online research, sample or technology sales and account management with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
The candidate should have a long term commitment in mind and the ability to grow with the company to be considered for this position.
Role & Responsibilities
The Account Director will work with the MD & Sales Director and the UK Client Services team to help grow a loyal client base within market research clients delivering consistent revenue stream for Cint in the UK market. You will be responsible for expanding your client portfolio, along with account retention of an existing portfolio of accounts.
The primary objective is on client maintenance and acquisition and to help raise awareness of the Cint brand in a mature and highly competitive market place. The proposition to clients will be the full portfolio of Cint’s innovative technology-based online research platforms/modules along with its unique OpinionHub offering for self-service sample access.
The client base is market research agencies within the UK.
In addition to the above, an Account Director is expected to display maturity and professionalism in representing Cint at meetings, industry events and conferences and welcome opportunities for additional responsibilities including but not limited to leading internal task groups, sharing knowledge and coaching junior members of staff, assuming supervisory roles when required, and being prepared to go above and beyond contractual working hours to deliver results.
Main tasks
Transitioning sample buyers from manually serviced sample procurement to a self-service, tech solution based sale
Converting and maintaining mid-large MR firms
Tele-sales and in-person client meetings will form a significant part of the job
Ability to network and operate at mid and senior management level
Selling the Cint portfolio of technology products and platforms, including the OpinionHub platform giving clients access to an open market place for sample provision
Managing and servicing any acquired clients with proposals, pricing, etc for project requests
Supporting internal project management teams in ensuring the smooth delivery of projects and services to the clients
Acquiring new accounts/projects on a regular basis
Ensuring client retention and high satisfaction scores through relationship development
Working with the Cint internal sales tools, including a CRM tool, to manage prospecting and business development
Consistently hit and exceed sales targets
Be available for coaching less senior members of staff and accepting additional responsibilities
Ensuring in-depth knowledge of internal procedures
Desired skills and experience
Good academic background with university degree
Experience in online research, outbound sample sales and new business development. experience
Experience in selling data, technology, software, or (online) research services to corporate clients will be viewed favourably
Account management experience
Min 5 years sales experience within an online sample or technology sales team
Experience of carrying and working with a personal revenue sales quota
Experience of working with and meeting sales KPI’s
Experience of supervising a team is favourable but not mandatory
