Films drwan from real-life characters seems to be the trend now in the industry.

Apart from high profile actors , one such actress who is all set to essay a character drawn from the most talked-about murder case is Rakhi Sawant.
‘Rakhi’ best known for her controversial acts takes inspiration from ‘Indrani Mukerji’ and is ready to essay a character called ‘Julie’ in director Aziz Zee’s upcoming directorial venture ‘Ek Kahaani Julie Ki’.
As per recent reports in the investigation made by the Police, Indrani Mukerjea , Shaamvar Rai and Sanjeev Khaana are in the news behind this planned murder.
The film has the storyline based on the Sheena Bora Murder Case and Rakhi is expected to go semi-nude this time.
It must be recalled that Rakhi had been in the news for her controversial acts from ‘Rakhi-Mika kissing scandal’ to her Swayamvar and Bigg Boss controversies.
In reference to this movie director Aziz Zee was quoted saying , “With each passing day, Bollywood seems to be slowly turning its attention towards real life incidents to draw inspiration for a good script. The toast of the year seems to be nothing but cinema inspired from true incidents and real life characters” further adding “This is the best time for movies like Ek Kahani Julie Ki because now with the revolution in the industry, the script is the hero of the film and the audience has also broadened their view towards cinema”.
Avadh Sharma says “Bollywood is fast emerging as a force to reckon with. We are diverting from the regular song and dance routine to an industry that is churning out films based on real life incidents. Bollywood filmmakers are investing their money and time in making movies that are inspired from true stories, ” further adding “Ek Kahani Julie Ki is one such movie, which is not a regular Bollywood masala film, it is a content driven film which will not just provide the audience with the required entertainment but it will also give the insights of the true story”.
Rakhi Sawant essaying the role of Julie says “It is actually there for people to see with a string of Bollywood releases, this year shows that the Indian film industry’s ongoing fascination with realist films is at its peak. I will not get into many details about the story line of the film, I will leave it for people to see the film when it will release”.
