Holy here we LEGO again, as Batman finds himself pitted against The Joker and a whole host of notorious villains in THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE which swoops into cinemas around the world TODAY.
In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The LEGO® Movie a worldwide phenomenon, it’s time for the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO® Batman – to star in his own big-screen adventure. Big changes are a brewing in Gotham, and in the hope of saving the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman’s gonna have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with allies (Robin, Batgirl and Alfred to name but a few) and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
Will Arnett reprises his starring role from The LEGO Movie as the voice of LEGO Batman whilst Zach Galifianakis (the Hangover films, Muppets Most Wanted) plays The Joker, Michael Cera (TV’s “Arrested Development”) provides his voice talents as the orphan Dick Grayson, aspiring to be a chip off the old brick; Rosario Dawson (TV’s “Daredevil”) plays Barbara Gordon; and Ralph Fiennes (the Harry Potter films) plays Batman’s trusty butler, Alfred.
To celebrate today’s release of The Lego Batman Movie, Warner Bros. has unleashed a holy hailstorm of Lego Batman bounty such as a Gotham Cribs Tour and a Brick By Brick Cast Featurette.
