Top 10 Highest Grossing Indian Movies
Indian Movies are reaching new peaks in terms of Box Office Collections. Baahubali-The Beginning raised a whopping 420 Crores just in 16 days of its release. The Telugu movie which is dubbed into Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages is rocking all over the world with its box office collections.
So far the top 12 Highest Grossers of Indian Cinema are:
1. PK
PK stands at the top in terms of the overall box office collections. Directed by Raj Kumar Hirani and produced by Vinod Chopra Films, PK has Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. The film raised a total of 740 Crores at the Box Office all over the world.
2. Dhoom 3
Another Aamir Khan’ flick Dhoom 3 received mostly negative reviews from the critics but was a huge hit at the box office. The film minted around 540 crores.
3. Chennai Express
Shah Rukh Khan’s fun filled Chennai Express was a huge hit. Standing at the third postion Chennai Express raised a total amount of 423 Crores.
4. Baahubali-The Beginning
The 2015 spectacle Baahubali broke all possible records and reached the 420 crore club just in 16 days of its release. The movie raised 420 crores till now and is expected to break all possible records till it stays on the screen.
5. 3 Idiots
Raj Kumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots starring Aamir Khan created magic on the screens and raised around 392 crores at the box office.
6. Happy New Year
Farah Khan’s Happy New Year starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead roles was a huge hit of 2014. It collected 383 crores at the box office.
7. Kick
Salman Khan’s Kick which received a huge response from the audience raised around 377 crores at the box office.
8. Krishh 3
Krishh 3 which couldn’t recreate the magic of its prequels however, was a success at the box office. The film minted a total of 374 crores.
9. Bang Bang!
Another Hrithik Roshan film Bang Bang! starring Katrina Kaif as the female lead raised 340 crores at the box office.
10. Ek Tha Tiger
The Kabir Khan’s film starring Salman Khan in the lead role raised 320 crores at the box office.
11. Ye Jawani Hai Deewani
The youthful entertainer which received highly positive reviews from the critics starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles raised a total amount of 310 crores at the box office.
12. Enthiran
The Rajini Kanth’s Robo(Enthiran) was the first ever south Indian film to reach the 200 crore club. The movie raised a total of 283 crores at the box office.
