Collectors Of Blu-Ray Anonymous
COBRA Club is a niche-focused listing of new and exclusive domestic (US) Blu-ray releases. There are a lot of sites out there that list the big new releases, but we’re hoping to address collectors seeking less common fare or simply the “best” retailer-exclusive edition of a particular new release. This listing does not include major wide releases, but rather focuses specifically on retailer exclusives, boutique distributors, and limited editions. We’re Blu-ray focused but may include the odd DVD. Links point to Amazon where applicable or retailer/distributor websites as needed.
With no major “new” releases, strong catalog showings steal this week’s spotlight. Most notably, Arrow delivers Massacre Gun, but we also get Burt Reynolds classics Hooper and Sharky’s Machine, Tobe Hooper’s Invaders From Mars, and a couple of older sci-fi gems from Universal in Journey To The Far Side Of The Sun and Silent Running. Anime fans also have plenty to look forward to with several fancy releases.
