Job Details

We have a really exciting permanent opportunity available for a Public Relations Manager to join a leading broadcast organisation based in London. You will be responsible for the creation of all PR materials across the CEE and Africa regions; developing PR strategies based on the company's commercial needs and portfolio highlights.

Supporting senior management, you will research and write press releases and newsletters (including corporate PR), coordinate the translation of these into relevant local languages and distribute to the local press and third party contacts. Further duties will involve coordinating talent interviews to support the channels' PR, securing access to talent and liaising with regions to ensure opportunities are maximised across relevant media.

As PR Manager, it is important that you evaluate all PR coverage and that strategies and materials are adjusted accordingly. You will also ensure strong relationships are built with marketing, programming and acquisitions teams and be responsible for monitoring and evaluating social media activities, whilst developing the monthly social media posting schedule and uploading all new promos to social media accounts.

It is essential that you have previously managed PR agencies and freelancers in multiple locations, to be able to support central and local teams and ensure coverage in regions where a local team isn't available. You will also provide ad-hoc support to marketing and PR teams when required for events, award entries and special programming.

Candidates must have an excellent track record in PR management within broadcast, ideally across Central Eastern Europe (CEE). It is vital that you are self-driven, highly pro-active and motivated, along with being an exceptional communicator, influencer and relationship builder. You must be a skilled copywriter who is proficient in generating content that lends itself well to translation.

Excellent English language skills are essential, with any other European languages being highly advantageous, for example Czech, Romanian, Slovenian, Polish, Serbian or Russian.

Flexibility is important for this role, as you may be required to travel occasionally to local offices to support on the ground initiatives and PR activities, such as press roadshows and sponsorship events.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an international broadcast company and work in an exciting, fast-paced environment.

If you feel you have the right skills and experience to be considered for this role and you are already fully eligible to work in the UK without restrictions, then please apply now.
