This article is something of a follow-up to three others that were published in the past few weeks (Bucking for Jorge's Job, part one, Bucking for Jorge's Job, part two, and Bucking for Obama's Job).
There is actually little new that can be said about the absolute refusal of the reigning caesar, Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro, and of the reigning universal public face of apostasy, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, to admit that the adherents of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria are nothing other than completely faithful adherents to the false religion founded by the false, blasphemous “prophet,” Mohammed. These two figures of Antichrist are equally incapable of admitting that Mohammed’s false, blasphemous religion spread throughout the entirety of North Africa and the Near East by the force of the sword as ancient cities were ransacked and thousands of Catholics killed before its advance into Europe was blunted by Charles Martel in the Battle of Poitiers (Tours) on October 10, 732.
A few brief comments on various passages in Caesar Obama/Soetoro’s February 18, 2015, speech to a group desiring to devise new methods of countering “extremist terrorism” will be made before dealing with caesar’s equally insane partner in crimes against truth, Jorge Mario Bergoglio.
To the first passage from Caesar Obama/Soetoro’s speech:
As we go forward, we need to find new ways to amplify the voices of peace and tolerance and inclusion -- and we especially need to do it online. We also need to lift up the voices of those who know the hypocrisy of groups like ISIL firsthand, including former extremists. Their words speak to us today. And I know in some of the discussions these voices have been raised: “I witnessed horrible crimes committed by ISIS.” “It’s not a revolution or jihad…it’s a slaughter…I was shocked by what I did.” “This isn’t what we came for, to kill other Muslims.” “I’m 28 -- is this the only future I’m able to imagine?” That's the voice of so many who were temporarily radicalized and then saw the truth. And they’ve warned other young people not to make the same mistakes as they did. “Do not run after illusions.” “Do not be deceived.” “Do not give up your life for nothing.” We need to lift up those voices.
And in all this work, the greatest resource are communities themselves, especially like those young people who are here today. We are joined by talented young men and women who are pioneering new innovations, and new social media tools, and new ways to reach young people. We’re joined by leaders from the private sector, including high-tech companies, who want to support your efforts. And I want to challenge all of us to build new partnerships that unleash the talents and creativity of young people -- young Muslims -- not just to expose the lies of extremists but to empower youth to service, and to lift up people’s lives here in America and around the world. And that can be a calling for your generation. (Remarks by the Caesar in Closing of the Summit on Countering Violent Extremism.)
Brief Comment Number One:
As we know by now, Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro refuses to admit that violence is an ingrained part of the Mohammedan Koran, a blasphemous book that has been esteemed by “Saint John Paul II,” Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, and Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis. The evidence that proves this to be a denial of truth is presented yet again in the appendix below.
Obama/Soetoro and Bergoglio each believes that the “true extremists” in the world are those who are opposed to “peace,” “tolerance” and “inclusion” are those who are opposed to the “progress” represented by their respective revolutions.
Obama/Soetoro, a product of the anti-Incarnational lies of Modernity, believes that those who are opposed to his own unconstitutional executive orders and presidential directives, including his directive that blocks the deportation of most illegal immigrants and provides many with access to government subsidy programs, and his own policies in support of the chemical and surgical execution of the innocent preborn and in support of the farthest reaches of the so-called “LGBT” agenda are the “extremists” who activities and even speech must be monitored online.
Bergoglio Francis, a consummate product of the lies of Modernism as repackaged and propagated by the counterfeit church of conciliarism, is constantly denouncing those who oppose the conciliar revolution, which he is advancing with aplomb. Indeed, he has targeted the Franciscan Friars and Sisters of the Immaculate (see Reviling the Immaculate Heart of Mary) and took a swipe at “traditionalist” seminarians recently when addressing priests/presbyters of the Diocese of Rome on Thursday, February 19, 2015, pulling out the old “mentally ill” card that was used with such success by the murderous Joseph Stalin against opponents of the Bolshevk Revolution and his own bloody purges in furtherance thereof:
However, some excerpts of the Pope's discourse were released thanks in part to several priests who spoke to the press following the meeting. Some even managed to record the Pope's words. In addition to several phrases reported by a few Italian news agencies this morning, the 78 year old Pontiff touched upon the theme, for example, on the "traditional rite" with which Benedict XVI granted to celebrate Mass. Through the Motu Propio Summorum Pontificum, published in 2007, the now Pope Emeritus allowed the possibility of celebrating the Mass according the liturgical books edited by John XXIII in 1962, notwithstanding that the "ordinary" form of celebration in the Catholic Church would always remain that established by Paul VI in 1970.
Pope Francis explained that this gesture by his predecessor, "a man of communion", was meant to offer "a courageous hand to Lefebvrians and traditionalists", as well as to those who wished to celebrate the Mass according to the ancient rites. The so-called "Tridentine" Mass – the Pope said – is an "extraordinary form of the Roman Rite", one that was approved following the Second Vatican Council. Thus, it is not deemed a distinct rite, but rather a "different form of the same right". (sic)
However, the Pope noted that there are priests and bishops who speak of a "reform of the reform." Some of them are "saints" and speak "in good faith." But this "is mistaken", the Holy Father said. He then referred to the case of some bishops who accepted "traditionalist" seminarians who were kicked out of other dioceses, without finding out information on them, because "they presented themselves very well, very devout." They were then ordained, but these were later revealed to have "psychological and moral problems."
It is not a practice, but it "happens often" in these environments, the Pope stressed, and to ordain these types of seminarians is like placing a "mortgage on the Church." The underlying problem is that some bishops are sometimes overwhelmed by "the need for new priests in the diocese." Therefore, an adequate discernment among candidates is not made, among whom some can hide certain "imbalances" that are then manifested in liturgies. In fact, the Congregation of Bishops – the Pontiff went on to say – had to intervene with three bishops on three of these cases, although they didn't occur in Italy.
During the beginning of his address, Francis, spoke on homiletics and the Ars celebrandi, calling on the priests to not fall into the temptation of wanting to be a "showman" on the pulpit, perhaps even by speaking in a "sophisticated manner" or "overt gestures."
However, priests shouldn't also be "boring" to the point that people "will go outside to smoke a cigarette" during the homily. (Jorge Holds Two Hour Meeting with Roman Clergy.)
While leaving the substance of these not-so-incredible set of remarks, which represent a direct broadside against Antipope Emeritus Ratzinger/Benedict’s explicit desire for the “reform of the reform,” for another commentary in a few days, Jorge Mario Bergoglio never ceases to find opportunities to trot out one cliché-ridden epithets after another about “traditionalists” that have been bandied about now since the end of the “Second” Vatican Council on December 8, 1965, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, to equate mental illness with traditionalism. This insidious apostate is very much in league with the likes of lords of Modernist such as Obama/Soetoro, a man who believes that all opposition to him and to his policies is unjust and illegitimate, if not founded on overt racialism.
Back to Caesar's Ash Wednesday speech:
So that’s the first challenge -- we've got to discredit these ideologies. We have to tackle them head on. And we can't shy away from these discussions. And too often, folks are, understandably, sensitive about addressing some of these root issues, but we have to talk about them, honestly and clearly. (Applause.) And the reason I believe we have to do so is because I'm so confident that when the truth is out we'll be successful. Now, a second challenge is we do have to address the grievances that terrorists exploit, including economic grievances. Poverty alone does not cause a person to become a terrorist, any more than poverty alone causes somebody to become a criminal. There are millions of people -- billions of people -- in the world who live in abject poverty and are focused on what they can do to build up their own lives, and never embrace violent ideologies.
Conversely, there are terrorists who’ve come from extraordinarily wealthy backgrounds, like Osama bin Laden. What’s true, though, is that when millions of people -- especially youth -- are impoverished and have no hope for the future, when corruption inflicts daily humiliations on people, when there are no outlets by which people can express their concerns, resentments fester. The risk of instability and extremism grow. Where young people have no education, they are more vulnerable to conspiracy theories and radical ideas, because it's not tested against anything else, they’ve got nothing to weigh. And we've seen this across the Middle East and North Africa.
And terrorist groups are all too happy to step into a void. They offer salaries to their foot soldiers so they can support their families. Sometimes they offer social services -- schools, health clinics -- to do what local governments cannot or will not do. They try to justify their violence in the name of fighting the injustice of corruption that steals from the people -- even while those terrorist groups end up committing even worse abuses, like kidnapping and human trafficking.
So if we’re going to prevent people from being susceptible to the false promises of extremism, then the international community has to offer something better. And the United States intends to do its part. We will keep promoting development and growth that is broadly shared, so more people can provide for their families. We’ll keep leading a global effort against corruption, because the culture of the bribe has to be replaced by good governance that doesn’t favor certain groups over others.
Countries have to truly invest in the education and skills and job training that our extraordinary young people need. And by the way, that's boys and girls, and men and women, because countries will not be truly successful if half their populations -- if their girls and their women are denied opportunity. (Applause.) And America will continue to forge new partnerships in entrepreneurship and innovation, and science and technology, so young people from Morocco to Malaysia can start new businesses and create more prosperity.
Just as we address economic grievances, we need to face a third challenge -- and that's addressing the political grievances that are exploited by terrorists. When governments oppress their people, deny human rights, stifle dissent, or marginalize ethnic and religious groups, or favor certain religious groups over others, it sows the seeds of extremism and violence. It makes those communities more vulnerable to recruitment. Terrorist groups claim that change can only come through violence. And if peaceful change is impossible, that plays into extremist propaganda.' (Remarks by the Caesar in Closing of the Summit on Countering Violent Extremism.)
Brief Comment Number Two:
Obama/Soetoro’s refusal to accept Mohammedanism in se as the cause of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria’s beheading of Coptic Orthodox Christians in Egypt and its destruction of Catholic and Orthodox Christian shrines and churches in Iraq and Syria forces him to engage in fruitless search for “root causes” that are nothing other than figments of his own statist imagination.
Moreover, Obama/Soetoro, much like Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis, does not believe that the remove cause of all human problems is Original Sin, thereby being completely ignorant of the simple truth that the souls of unbaptized persons are captive to the devil by means of Original Sin and are thus more inclined to respond with anger, hatred and violence to injustices, whether perceived or actual or both, and to advance the interests of their false religious and/or political beliefs. Obama/Soetoro is a product of the post-Christian world of Modernity, possessing a mind that is shaped by the precepts of Lockean liberalism, whether or not he understands this to be the case.
That is, Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro believes that the way to address what he thinks are matters of “social justice” domestically (universal health care, income distribution programs, persecution of political opponents by means of the Internal Revenue Service and the Federal Election Commission, “income inequality,” “net neutrality,” “justice” for the environment and for illegal immigrants) is by way of new programs that require the use of the confiscatory taxing powers of the Federal government of the United States of America to transfer income, limit the legitimate freedom of American citizens and to increase the size, the power and the scope of the government’s powers by all means necessary, whether constitutional or unconstitutional, legal or illegal.
John Locke, a Presbyterian (Calvinist) minister who wrote the Second Treatise on Civil Government, believed essentially that social problems could be ameliorated if a majority of reasonable men gathered together to discuss their situation. The discussion among these "reasonable men" would lead to an agreement, sanctioned by the approval of the majority amongst themselves, on the creation of structures which designed to improve the existing situation. If those structures did not ameliorate the problems or resulted in a worsening of social conditions then some subsequent majority of "reasonable men" would be able to tear up the "contract" that had bound them before, devising yet further structures designed to do what the previous structures could not accomplish. Locke did not specify how this majority of reasonable men would form, only that it would form, providing the foundation of the modern parliamentary system that premises the survival of various governments upon the whims of a majority at a given moment.
Unfortunately for Locke, you see, social problems cannot be ameliorated merely by the creation of structures devised by "reasonable men" and sanctioned by the majority.
All problems in the world, both individual and social, have their remote causes in Original Sin and their proximate causes in the Actual Sins of men. There is no once-and-for-all method or structure by which, for example, "peace" will be provided in the world by the creation of international organizations or building up or the drafting of treaties. Men must be converted at every moment of their lives by adhering to the truths of the Catholic Faith while attempting to cooperate with the graces won for them by the shedding of every single drop of the Most Precious Blood of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ during His Passion and Death on the wood of the Holy Cross on Good Friday and that flow into our souls through the loving hands of Our Lady, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces.
Pope Pius XI, writing to refute the “salvific” power of the Nazi ideology, explained the true source of social reform is the reform of the souls of men:
20. Every true and lasting reform has ultimately sprung from the sanctity of men who were driven by the love of God and of men. Generous, ready to stand to attention to any call from God, yet confident in themselves because confident in their vocation, they grew to the size of beacons and reformers. On the other hand, any reformatory zeal, which instead of springing from personal purity, flashes out of passion, has produced unrest instead of light, destruction instead of construction, and more than once set up evils worse than those it was out to remedy. No doubt "the Spirit breatheth where he will" (John iii. 8): "of stones He is able to raise men to prepare the way to his designs" (Matt. iii. 9). He chooses the instruments of His will according to His own plans, not those of men. But the Founder of the Church, who breathed her into existence at Pentecost, cannot disown the foundations as He laid them. Whoever is moved by the spirit of God, spontaneously adopts both outwardly and inwardly, the true attitude toward the Church, this sacred fruit from the tree of the cross, this gift from the Spirit of God, bestowed on Pentecost day to an erratic world. (Pope Pius XI, Mit Brennender Sorge, March 17, 1937.)
Possessed of the false premises of John Locke by way of the filter provided by a thousand other noxious sources, including out-and-out Marxism, Barack Hussein Obama cannot comprehend the fact that the events of the past five hundred years have robbed men and their nations of the guidance that they need from Holy Mother Church in her exercise of the Social Reign of Christ the King in all that pertains to the good of souls. The civil government is thus seen as the first, last and only "solution" to problems that are the result of the prevalence of sin in the world and the systematic, planned destruction of the Social Kingship of Our Lord Jesus Christ and, of course, of the family itself by the organized forces of Judeo-Masonry as the basic building block of society.
Finally, “investment” means only one thing for Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro: more and more taxation to increase the national debt so as to make it impossible for his hapless opponents in the organized crime family of the naturalist “right” to rein in Federal spending and the ever-growing annual budget deficit.
To the final part of Obama/Soetoro’s Ash Wednesday sermon on how to combat “extremist terrorism”:
So the essential ingredient to real and lasting stability and progress is not less democracy; it’s more democracy. (Applause.) It’s institutions that uphold the rule of law and apply justice equally. It’s security forces and police that respect human rights and treat people with dignity. It’s free speech and strong civil societies where people can organize and assemble and advocate for peaceful change. It’s freedom of religion where all people can practice their faith without fear and intimidation. (Applause.) All of this is part of countering violent extremism. (Remarks by the Caesar in Closing of the Summit on Countering Violent Extremism.)
Brief Comment Number Three:
That’s right, the very things that created the mess that the Western world finds itself in today are said by the reigning caesar to provide us with the “solution” to pacify faithful, believing adherents of the false, blasphemous Mohemmdan religion. More “democracy.” More “free speech” and more “freedom of religion.”
Apart from noting that the members of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (or, to use Obama/Soetoro’s term that actually elevates the importance of these faithful, believing Mohammedans, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant—meaning the entirety of world!), it should be noted that this hubristic hypocrite’s administration has done much to attack freedom of speech and to make it impossible for those who oppose the evils that his administration funds and mandates us to support to practice their religious principles without threats of lawsuits, monstrous fines and even jail terms.
Three words come to mind here: Fake, Phony, Fraud.
The same three words apply to Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis, the world’s foremost spiritual terrorist and blasphemer, when it referred yet again to the so-called “ecumenism of blood” in a brief set of impromptu remarks about the beheading of the twenty Coptic Orthodox Christians in Egypt by faithful, believing Mohammedans who belong to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, which calls itself the Islamic State:
VATICAN CITY (RNS) Pope Francis on Monday (Feb. 16) denounced the brutal slayings of 21 Coptic Christians in Libya by militants linked to the Islamic State, saying “they were assassinated just for being Christian.”
“The blood of our Christian brothers is a witness that cries out,” Francis said in off-the-cuff remarks during an audience with an ecumenical delegation from the Church of Scotland.
The pope, switching to his native Spanish, noted that those killed only said “Jesus help me.”
“Be they Catholic, Orthodox, Copts, Lutherans, it doesn’t matter: They’re Christian! The blood is the same: It is the blood which confesses Christ,” Francis said. He said their deaths bore witness to “an ecumenism of blood” that should unite Christians, a phrase he has used repeatedly as the Islamic State continues its bloody march.
The pope telephoned the Patriarch of the Coptic Orthodox Church, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, to show his profound solidarity in the sorrow of the Coptic Church for the barbaric assassination by Islamic fundamentalists. He assured him of his prayers and also said he would unite himself spiritually with the prayers of the Coptic Church at his morning Mass Tuesday (Feb. 17) when the men are to be buried.
The Islamic State militants released a video late Sunday (Feb. 15) purporting to show the mass beheading of the Christian hostages, who had been held for several weeks.
In the video, one of the militants points northward toward Italy, some 500 miles across the Mediterranean Sea, and says, “We will conquer Rome, by Allah’s permission.”
Nerves were already on edge in Europe following the terrorist attacks by Islamic extremists in Paris last months and over the weekend in Copenhagen.
But Vatican officials have downplayed any immediate danger and say that Vatican and Italian security forces are monitoring the situation.
The Vatican also said Francis called the head of the Coptic Orthodox Church, Pope Tawadros II, to offer his “sorrow of the Coptic Church for the recent barbaric assassination of Coptic Christians by Islamic fundamentalists." (Jorge condemns Islamic State'
s executions of Coptic Orthodox Christians
.)
An excellent post that appeared a few days ago on the Novus Ordo Watch Wire blog, Fear Francis, Not ISIS, makes all of the proper distinctions concerning the heretical nature of “the ecumenism of blood” that was condemned by the Council of Florence when it, meeting under the authority of Pope Eugene IV, issued Cantate Domino on February 4, 1442:
It firmly believes, professes, and proclaims that those not living within the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics cannot become participants in eternal life, but will depart “into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels” [Matt. 25:41], unless before the end of life the same have been added to the flock; and that the unity of the ecclesiastical body is so strong that only to those remaining in it are the sacraments of the Church of benefit for salvation, and do fastings, almsgiving, and other functions of piety and exercises of Christian service produce eternal reward, and that no one, whatever almsgiving he has practiced, even if he has shed blood for the name of Christ, can be saved, unless he has remained in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church. (Pope Eugene IV, Cantate Domino, Council of Florence, February 4, 1442.)
It is, however, interesting to note that Jorge Mario Bergoglio made his impromptu comments on Monday, February 16, 2015, as he was addressing member of the “Church of Scotland,” a Presbyterian sect that broke away from the Catholic Church in 1560 as its founder, John Knox, embraced embrace John Calvin’s brand of a “purer, simpler” Christianity that provided something of a roadmap that the conciliar revolutionaries themselves have followed in their terrible destruction of Catholic Faith, Worship and Morals. It was in Edinburgh, Scotland, after all, that the worldwide movement of false ecumenism first began to take hold when the “World Missionary Conference was held there from June 14, 1910, to June 23, 1910.
None other than Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI praised this “World Missionary Conference,” whose basic tenets were denounced by Pope Pius XI in Mortalium Animos, January 6, 1928, the Feast of the Epiphany of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, five years ago. Indeed, the Antipope Emeritus praised the “World Missionary Conference” several times in 2010.
Let’s go to the videotape, well, in a manner of speaking:
VATICAN CITY, 26 JAN 2010 (VIS) - Yesterday evening in the Roman basilica of St. Paul's Outside-the-Walls, the Holy Father presided at the celebration of second Vespers of the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul. The celebration marked the end of this year's Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, the theme of which has been: "You are witnesses of these things".
The event was attended by a number of cardinals and bishops, as well as by representatives of other Churches and ecclesial communities present in Rome.
In his homily Benedict XVI explained how the choice of the theme for this year's Week of Prayer - "that is, the invitation to a offer shared witness of the risen Christ in accordance with the mandate He entrusted to His disciples" - is linked "to the hundredth anniversary of the missionary conference in Edinburgh, Scotland, which many consider as a decisive event for the birth of the modern ecumenical movement".
"It is precisely the desire to announce Christ to others and to carry His message of reconciliation to the world that makes us aware of the contradiction of division among Christians". he said. "The communion and unity of the disciples of Christ is, then, a particularly important prerequisite for a more credible and effective witness".
The Holy Father explained how, "in a world characterised by religious indifference and even by a growing aversion towards the Christian faith, what is needed is new and intense evangelising activity, directed not only at peoples who have never known the Gospel, but also at those among whom Christianity is present and has become part of their history".
After then referring to "questions that still separate us from each other, and that we hope may be overcome through prayer and dialogue", the Pope explained how there nonetheless exists "a core content of Christ's message that we can announce together: the paternity of God, Christ's victory over sin and death with His cross and resurrection, and trust in the transforming action of the Spirit.
"As we journey towards full communion", he added, "we are called to present a joint witness in the face of the increasingly complex challenges of our time, such as secularisation and indifference, relativism and hedonism, delicate ethical questions concerning the beginning and end of life, the limits of science and technology, and dialogue with other religious traditions".
Pope Benedict continued: "There are other fields in which we must already show our joint witness: protecting creation, promoting peace and the common good, defending the centrality of the human person, and the commitment to defeat the poverties of our time such as hunger, indigence, illiteracy and the unequal distribution of wealth".
And he concluded: "Commitment to the unity of Christians is not just a task for the few, or an appendage to the life of the Church. Each is called to offer his or her contribution to help take those steps towards the full communion of all Christ's disciples, never forgetting that it is, above all, a gift constantly to be implored from God". (COMMITMENT TO CHRISTIAN UNITY IS A TASK FOR EVERYONE .)
"A core content of Christ's message that we can announce together: the paternity of God, Christ's victory over sin and death with His cross and resurrection, and trust in the transforming action of the Spirit"? Apostasy. We are not and can never be "united" with those who are not members of the Catholic Church and who defect from even one item contained in the Deposit of Faith that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. There are no such things as "core beliefs" that can render anything else in the Deposit of Faith somehow "less important."
Ratzinger/Benedict praised the “World Missionary Conference” twice during his visit to the United Kingdom in September of 2010, once in Edinburgh, Scotland, on September 16, 2010, and then on the next day, September 17, 2010, at Westminster Abbey in Westminster, England:
Much has happened in Scotland and in the Church in this country since that historic visit. I note with great satisfaction how Pope John Paul’s call to you to walk hand in hand with your fellow Christians has led to greater trust and friendship with the members of the Church of Scotland, the Scottish Episcopal Church and others. Let me encourage you to continue to pray and work with them in building a brighter future for Scotland based upon our common Christian heritage. In today’s first reading we heard Saint Paul appeal to the Romans to acknowledge that, as members of Christ’s body, we belong to each other (cf. Rom 12:5) and to live in respect and mutual love. In that spirit I greet the ecumenical representatives who honour us by their presence. This year marks the 450th anniversary of the Reformation Parliament, but also the 100th anniversary of the World Missionary Conference in Edinburgh, which is widely acknowledged to mark the birth of the modern ecumenical movement. Let us give thanks to God for the promise which ecumenical understanding and cooperation represents for a united witness to the saving truth of God’s word in today’s rapidly changing society. (Service staged in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, 16 September 2010.)
How can those who defect from the truths of the Catholic Faith give a "united witness to the saving truth of God's word in today's rapidly changing society"? Heresy is no foundation of personal or social order.
The Church of Scotland, which supports contraception and the direct surgical killing of innocent preborn babies in some cases, and the Scottish Episcopal Church, which supports contraception and abortion outright, no less rejecting the inconvenient little truth that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ founded but one Church upon the Rock of Peter, the Pope, are incapable of "building a brighter future for Scotland" as it just happens to be necessary to subscribe to everything found in the Deposit of Faith that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ entrusted exclusively to His Catholic Church for Its eternal safekeeping and infallible explication in order to please God.
Pope Leo XIII explained this very cogently in Satis Cognitum, June 29, 1896:
Agreement and union of minds is the necessary foundation of this perfect concord amongst men, from which concurrence of wills and similarity of action are the natural results. Wherefore, in His divine wisdom, He ordained in His Church Unity of Faith; a virtue which is the first of those bonds which unite man to God, and whence we receive the name of the faithful - "one Lord, one faith, one baptism" (Eph. iv., 5). That is, as there is one Lord and one baptism, so should all Christians, without exception, have but one faith. And so the Apostle St. Paul not merely begs, but entreats and implores Christians to be all of the same mind, and to avoid difference of opinions: "I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no schisms amongst you, and that you be perfect in the same mind and in the same judgment" (I Cor. i., 10). Such passages certainly need no interpreter; they speak clearly enough for themselves. Besides, all who profess Christianity allow that there can be but one faith. It is of the greatest importance and indeed of absolute necessity, as to which many are deceived, that the nature and character of this unity should be recognized. And, as We have already stated, this is not to be ascertained by conjecture, but by the certain knowledge of what was done; that is by seeking for and ascertaining what kind of unity in faith has been commanded by Jesus Christ. (Pope Leo XIII, Satis Cognitum, June 29, 1896.)
Pope Pius XI condemned the insanity of false ecumenism and its concept of a "generic Christianity" as has been preached by the conciliar "popes," including Ratzinger/Benedict and Bergoglio/Francis:
Is it not right, it is often repeated, indeed, even consonant with duty, that all who invoke the name of Christ should abstain from mutual reproaches and at long last be united in mutual charity? Who would dare to say that he loved Christ, unless he worked with all his might to carry out the desires of Him, Who asked His Father that His disciples might be "one." And did not the same Christ will that His disciples should be marked out and distinguished from others by this characteristic, namely that they loved one another: "By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another"? All Christians, they add, should be as "one": for then they would be much more powerful in driving out the pest of irreligion, which like a serpent daily creeps further and becomes more widely spread, and prepares to rob the Gospel of its strength. These things and others that class of men who are known as pan-Christians continually repeat and amplify; and these men, so far from being quite few and scattered, have increased to the dimensions of an entire class, and have grouped themselves into widely spread societies, most of which are directed by non-Catholics, although they are imbued with varying doctrines concerning the things of faith. This undertaking is so actively promoted as in many places to win for itself the adhesion of a number of citizens, and it even takes possession of the minds of very many Catholics and allures them with the hope of bringing about such a union as would be agreeable to the desires of Holy Mother Church, who has indeed nothing more at heart than to recall her erring sons and to lead them back to her bosom. But in reality beneath these enticing words and blandishments lies hid a most grave error, by which the foundations of the Catholic faith are completely destroyed.
Admonished, therefore, by the consciousness of Our Apostolic office that We should not permit the flock of the Lord to be cheated by dangerous fallacies, We invoke, Venerable Brethren, your zeal in avoiding this evil; for We are confident that by the writings and words of each one of you the people will more easily get to know and understand those principles and arguments which We are about to set forth, and from which Catholics will learn how they are to think and act when there is question of those undertakings which have for their end the union in one body, whatsoever be the manner, of all who call themselves Christians. (Pope Pius XI, Mortalium Animos, January 6, 1928.)
No, the generic Christianity of the ecumania that was preached by Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI five years ago and is being preached now by Jorge Mario Bergoglio is not good enough for God.
Indeed, God has seen to it that this ecumania stands condemned by the authority of true popes. Why permit yourself to be "cheated by dangerous fallacies," my readers? Why?
Always in defiance of the truth, Ratzinger/Benedict praised the World Missionary Conference when he spoke at an “ecumenical celebration” at Westminister Abbey in the City of Westminster, England, on September 17, 2010, the Feast of the Impression of the Stigmata on Saint Francis of Assisi:
This year, as we know, marks the hundredth anniversary of the modern ecumenical movement, which began with the Edinburgh Conference’s appeal for Christian unity as the prerequisite for a credible and convincing witness to the Gospel in our time. In commemorating this anniversary, we must give thanks for the remarkable progress made towards this noble goal through the efforts of committed Christians of every denomination. At the same time, however, we remain conscious of how much yet remains to be done. In a world marked by growing interdependence and solidarity, we are challenged to proclaim with renewed conviction the reality of our reconciliation and liberation in Christ, and to propose the truth of the Gospel as the key to an authentic and integral human development. In a society which has become increasingly indifferent or even hostile to the Christian message, we are all the more compelled to give a joyful and convincing account of the hope that is within us (cf. 1 Pet 3:15), and to present the Risen Lord as the response to the deepest questions and spiritual aspirations of the men and women of our time. (Ecumenical Celebration at Westminster Abbey, City of Westminster, 17 September 2010.)
"We are challenged to proclaim with renewed conviction the reality of our reconciliation and liberation in Christ, and to propose the truth of the Gospel as the key to an authentic and integral human development"?
Who's the "we”?
No, as I note in No Space Between Ratzinger and Bergoglio: So Close in Apostasy, So Far From Catholic Truth, Ratzinger and Bergoglio are complete twins on false ecumenism. They have their differences in style and emphasis. There are no differences between them on matters of “doctrinal” substance in the counterfeit church of conciliarism, which is why Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s comments about the “ecumenism of blood” is entirely in keeping with the heretical “new ecclesiology” of “partial” and “full communion” that is the lasting heritage of Lumen Gentium, November 21, 1964, the Feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
As noted a few days ago, however, there is nothing original in what the Modernists say and do. Although Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria/Paul the Sick did not use the phrase “ecumenism of blood,” he did “canonize” Blessed Charles Lwanga and the Anglicans who were martyred with him in Uganda on June 3, 1886, stating that each had shed his blood for Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. In other words, Paul the Sick said the same thing on October 18, 1964, that Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis said five days ago now:
The African martyrs add another page to the martyrology – the Church’s roll of honor – an occasion both of mourning and of joy. This is a page worthy in every way to be added to the annals of that Africa of earlier which we, living in this era and being men of little faith, never expected to be repeated.
In earlier times there occurred those famous deeds, so moving to the spirit, of the martyrs of Scilli, of Carthage, and of that “white robed army” of Utica commemorated by Saint Augustine and Prudentius; of the martyrs of Egypt so highly praised by Saint John Chrysostom, and of the martyrs of the Vandal persecution. Who would have thought that in our days we should have witnessed events as heroic and glorious?
Who could have predicted to the famous African confessors and martyrs such as Cyprian, Felicity, Perpetua and – the greatest of all – Augustine, that we would one day add names so dear to us as Charles Lwanga and Matthias Mulumba Kalemba and their 20 companions? Nor must we forget those members of the Anglican Church who also died for the name of Christ.
These African martyrs herald the dawn of a new age. If only the mind of man might be directed not toward persecutions and religious conflicts but toward a rebirth of Christianity and civilisation!
Africa has been washed by the blood of these latest martyrs, the first of this new age (and, God willing, let them be the last, although such a holocaust is precious indeed). Africa is reborn free and independent.
The infamous crime by which these young men were put to death was so unspeakable and so expressive of the times. It shows us clearly that a new people needs a moral foundation, needs new spiritual customs firmly planted, to be handed down to posterity. Symbolically, this crime also reveals that a simple and rough way of life – enriched by many fine human qualities yet enslaved by its own weakness and corruption – must give way to a more civilised life wherein the higher expressions of the mind and better social conditions prevail. (As found at The Ugandan Martyrs.)
What more needs to be said other than apostasy is apostasy?
Indeed, even though the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, which has proclaimed itself to be a world caliphate, is committing terrible crimes, it must be remembered that crimes against God and His Sacred Deposit of Faith are higher in the hierarchy of evils, something that Saint Louis IX, King of France, emphasized in a letter to his son, the future King Philip III:
Dear son, freely give power to persons of good character, who know how to use it well, and strive to have wickednesses expelled from your land, that is to say, nasty oaths, and everything said or done against God or our Lady or the saints. In a wise and proper manner put a stop, in your land, to bodily sins, dicing, taverns, and other sins. Put down heresy so far as you can, and hold in especial abhorrence Jews, and all sorts of people who are hostile to the Faith, so that your land may be well purged of them, in such manner as, by the sage counsel of good people, may appear to you advisable. (Medieval Sourcebook: Louis IX: Advice to His Son.)
While Saint Louis IX was excessive in his zeal for curbing blasphemy committed by private individuals in the course of their daily speech by having them branded, something for which he had to accept correction from the hand of the Holy Father, Pope Clement IV, in a direct exercise of the Social Reign of Christ the King, he did understand quite correctly that blasphemy was a serious crime against God and that the civil state had an obligation to curb its expression and to prevent it from becoming an institutionalized part of social discourse.
Saint Louis IX knew that those who could commit crimes against the honor and glory of the Most Blessed Trinity were far more dangerous to the welfare of a kingdom than those who committed crimes against property and persons. While crimes against property and persons must be prosecuted according to their nature and severity and with due consideration of any extenuating circumstances prompting their commission, crimes against God are graver the hierarchy of evils and make it far easier for men to hate and attack their fellow men. After all, it is a relatively easy thing to attack a mere human being when one is used to attacking the honor and glory and majesty of the true God of Revelation without any repentance or contrition whatsoever.
No such thought is held by the conciliarists, including Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis and his equally apostate predecessor, Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI. The conciliar “popes” have shown themselves to be the greatest terrorists on earth as they have regularly blasphemed the honor and glory and majesty of the Most Blessed Trinity and helped to ruin countless hundreds of millions of souls, Catholic and non-Catholic alike, in the process.
Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro and Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis, the currently reigning universal public face of apostasy, are charter members in an organization that can be called Insane Stupidity in Stereo, “ISIS” for short. Both men attack the integrity of the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law as they have been entrusted exclusively to the Catholic Church for their authoritative and infallible explication, thereby further the conditions that bring down God’s wrath upon us all. The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, as horrible as this group of faithful, believing Mohammedans is, is one of the means being used by God to chastise us all.
Sure, there are other groups, including Zionism. Granted. However, the Mohammedans of ISIS mean business the way that Mohammed and his early followers meant business at the beginning of the Seventh Century and that those who followed Mohammed meant in the centuries thereafter in various efforts to invade the heartland of Christendom in the First and Second Millennia.
God will not be mocked. He has always sought to chastise His people when they go astray, and the likes of the figures of Antichrist that are upon us at present remind us that even they in their very persons represent a chastisement to place us on our knees as we seek to make reparation for our own sins as the consecrated slaves of Christ the King through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, careful to pray as many Rosaries each day as our state-in-life permits, especially in this holy season of Lent.
Remember these words of Pope Pius XI, contained in his first encyclical letter, Ubi Arcano Dei Consilio, as the antidote to Obama/Soetoro's call for "more democracy" and Bergoglio's and caesar's mutual calls for "dialogue" as the "path to peace and tolerance":
Because the Church is by divine institution the sole depository and interpreter of the ideals and teachings of Christ, she alone possesses in any complete and true sense the power effectively to combat that materialistic philosophy which has already done and, still threatens, such tremendous harm to the home and to the state. The Church alone can introduce into society and maintain therein the prestige of a true, sound
