Qintex Q912 TV Box has an elegant and compact design, with aluminium case and a front power button, LED light, IR receiver & digital display. On the left side it has the micro SD card reader and a reset hole. In the rear you can find 2 WiFi external antennas, 3 full size USB ports, Optical audio out, AV out, HDMI 2.0 out, Ethernet LAN RJ45 Gigabit 1000M port & power port. The overall impression is very good, the device looks to be constructed with big care to details.

Qintex Q912 TV Box comes in 2 versions: with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage or with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The model adopts the latest quad core S912 chipset from Amlogic. For connectivity the device includes wired Ethernet RJ45 Gigabit 1000M, 802.11 a/b/g/n Dual Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and Infra Red receiver on board.

Root: Good News. The firmware is rooted, it came with Superuser already installed.
Oher: The stock firmware is very smooth and I didn't find any problem so far. Transitions, animations, apps switching and general OS fluidity is just great, I really like it a lot. During my tests, I experienced zero force closes, hangups or stability issues. Google Play and gapps are working without issue. Google Play Services updated no problem. 3rd party apps downloaded and updated without issues.
Storage. Total Capacity: 16 GB of internal Storage,  Total space: 11.49 GB, available: 6.35 GB. Good News again. The device sees with no problem at all my Mixza Tohaoll 128GB SDXC Micro SD Memory Card and my Netac K330 1TB External HDD USB 3.0.

The router used in this test is Xiaomi Mi WiFi Router.
