I hope that everyone had a very blessed Resurrection Day! While we do participate in some spring (or typical “Easter”) activities, my goal this year was to stay focused on the resurrection of our Lord during Holy Week. We made some crafts, read and discussed the story of Christ’s crucifixion, burial, and ascension, and our children were super excited to wear special new outfits to church on Sunday.
He lives! We made a fun watercolor craft depicting the cross at Calvary.
Our kiddos ready for church on Sunday morning. The girls really enjoyed picking out new outfits, while the boys were tickled to wear ties for the first time. The best deal that I found was our 19-month-old’s new dress for $4.97 at JC Penny. I believe that it was meant for winter holiday wear, but since it was short sleeved and light pink, I was super excited to use it for Resurrection Day! My husband went ahead an took a photo of our three oldest girls for their dance recital program per their request.
